Olivia Plath Speaks Out: ‘I Don’t Have To Defend Myself’
Welcome to Plathville star Olivia Plath is over defending herself. She reveals that she’s found her voice now.
Olivia shared a new photo of herself on social media recently. It looks like the photo is from a photoshoot, as the TLC star tagged makeup artists, photographers, and more. She’s wearing a bright red jacket and matching red lipstick. She has a serious look on her face and is staring directly at the camera.
Her caption has little to do with the photo though.
Olivia Plath gets raw and honest
In her caption, Olivia talks about defending herself and how she no longer feels like she needs to do that. The star talks about her recent realization, writing, “I’m realizing I don’t have to defend myself.”
Then, she goes on about how she’s approaching life differently. She adds:
“I’m going to screw things up like everyone else and I am going to slip back into unhealthy ruts sometimes. I’m going to come across as brash and brutal as I figure out the fine line between honoring my true feelings and respecting others feelings. Some of us are born a little more vocal anyways.”
She continues, encouraging her followers to be kinder and to give others more grace. She wants others to feel like they can make a difference in the world around them. It seems that’s what she hopes to do in her own life too.

Olivia typically gets a lot of love on social media. Fans of the show like to hear what she has to say, and they think she’s very wise. They love her perspective. And they especially like to see what she’s like both on and off the family’s TLC show.
