Fans were shocked when former Bachelor Peter Weber announced his split from Kelley Flanagan. He’s already been with four women in Bachelor Nation. Many are wondering if they will see Pilot Pete when Bachelor in Paradise begins filming this coming summer. ABC executive Robert Mills weighs in on the big question.

Will Peter Weber head to Bachelor in Paradise?

US Weekly shared all the details on if fans will be seeing Peter on Paradise. This week, ABC exec Robert Mills said the franchise would love to see Peter on the hot summer series. So, if Peter wants another shot at love, the spot is his.

Mills went on to say, “Oh, that’s interesting. Wow, I love that idea! Absolutely, yeah.” He continued, “I wanna say, and I could be wrong here, but I’m almost positive I remember this: there were discussions about [former Bachelor] Chris Soules and some stuff happened. But I like the idea of Peter in Paradise.”

Possibilities are endless for BIP

Since BIP didn’t film during the summer of 2020, there are tons of options for cast members. Mills even said the pond, so to speak, is overflowing with potential cast members. In fact, there could even be members from Peter’s season on Season 7 of BIP. That could be very interesting if Peter decides to join the cast.

And, Chris Harrison has also said that undoubtedly some favorites may be left out. This is because there are so many seasons to choose cast members from. Skipping summer 2020 ultimately gives producers four seasons to choose from.

Peter’s relationships

Peter has yet to comment about heading to Bachelor in Paradise. Right now, Peter is no doubt still healing from his recent split with Kelley. And, she’s not the only one he had relationships with over the past year. Peter was also briefly engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss. Then after their split he very briefly tried to make things work with Madison Prewett. They were literally only together about two days.

Peter then met up with Kelley in March. The two were nearly inseparable from that point on. They even planned to move in together in New York this month. However, Peter and Kelley ultimately decided they wanted different things at this point in their lives. Many wondered if Peter’s mom, Barb, played a role in their split. Peter denied those claims and said Barbara adored Kelley.

Do you think Peter would be a good addition to Bachelor in Paradise? Stay tuned for more updates as the months edge closer to summer.
