Did Peter Weber’s Mom Play A Huge Part In Kelley Flanagan Split?
Since former Bachelor Peter Weber announced his split from Kelley Flanagan, fans have been wondering what caused it. Everyone was shocked when the couple announced they would entering 2021 alone. After nearly nine months of being nearly inseparable, Peter announced they were done. They had even planning to move in together in New York after the first of the year. After a few days, Kelley also spoke on their breakup. Both appear to have mutual love and respect for one another. However, many fans wonder if Barbara Weber could have played a role in their split.
Did Barbara Weber play a part in Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan’s split?
People were quick to point a finger at Barb. However, Peter shut them down quickly. In fact, Barbara really liked Kelley. She enjoyed them being together. Entertainment Tonight spoke with Peter, who issued a statement to them.
He said, “Kelley and I broke up two weeks ago. I flew to Chicago and was finished with the relationship, then my mom really encouraged us to be in the relationship if we wanted to be and to not give up. Kelley and I operate on two different frequencies, and one isn’t better or worse than the other; we’re just two different people, and those differences surfaced after eight months of dating. But I loved her like crazy, and my mom really cared about her.”
Peter finally announced the split New Year’s Eve.
Other rumors surrounding the breakup
The split was such a shock, fans are looking for other reasons that could have caused the split. Some thought perhaps Peter cheated on Kelley. US Weekly shared details behind that rumor and also what a source said in response to it.
A source said this was absolutely not the case. They said, “It was a tough break up. Both sides are really affected, which is why Kelley took some time to put out the statement. They’re both sad and trying to heal.”
The source also insisted Peter would never cheat. They said, “They were together all the time, so there was no way either one could’ve cheated. Their personalities just didn’t mix — that was a big factor for the break up. They also fought and had many disagreements and didn’t see eye to eye at times.”
It seems Peter and Kelley were just not meant to be for now. Perhaps in the future they will find a way to navigate back to one another.
