Meghan King’s Christmas Wish Came True — She’s Seeing Someone New

Meghan King wished for a “partner” for Christmas. And her wish came true. She found someone new after her split from her boyfriend, Christian Schauf. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star announced in late November that she and Christian had split. Then she admitted that she wished she “had a partner” to lean on during the hectic holiday season.

The reality star has been making some changes. She moved to her new home in St. Louis. But she admits that some of these changes have taken their toll on her. The mommy blogger told her followers that she’s feeling “exhausted from not sleeping.”

But now her spirit has changed since she’s seeing someone new.

Meghan King reveals she’s dating again

The openly honest Bravo star announced that she’s been dating again. This comes after Meghan King recently split from her boyfriend of six months, Christian Schauf. In May 2020, the 36-year-old revealed that she was seeing the 40-year-old entrepreneur. This came amid her messy divorce from estranged husband Jim Edmonds.

The couple split in October 2019 after five years of marriage. They share a daughter, Aspen, 3, and twin sons Hayes and Hart, 2. Now, Meghan has opened up about her new boyfriend, whom she met in the St. Louis area. It turns out that moving to a new area has done her some good.

“I was kind of dating, but then the [coronavirus] pandemic hit when I was starting to date. … Then I’m dating in St. Louis, and that is a little bit more awkward,” Meghan told Us Weekly. “When the guy comes to the front door, I’m like, ‘OK, do you come to the front door? Or do I allow you to be a gentleman, or do I hide my kids? Do I wait until they’re already asleep? How does this work?'”

While Meghan hasn’t achieved that perfect “balance” yet, she is “going to try to shield” her kids from her potential suitors. Instead, she’s been telling her daughter that she’s going on dates with her girlfriends. This won’t lead her to think that her mom is leaving the house to see a boy.

Meghan King is trying to get through this challenging time. She reflected as she sat in the bathtub with the book Untamed by Glennon Doyle. In her latest Instagram post, Meghan addressed the “hard” times she dealt with in 2020. The photo showed her teary-eyed as she held up the book.

“This is not a sexy post,” Meghan wrote in the caption. “I won’t bore you with my woe-is-me specifics but thank god for sisters and bubble bath and friends who send you meditations and this book I’m reading. Despite me putting on makeup and looking cute I lost my brain today. Holidays are hard… so are your kids and divorce and Covid times.”

The “Intimate Knowledge” podcast host then reminded her followers that “Instagram is smoke and mirrors.” In November, Meghan tested positive for COVID-19. Jim called her out on her “reckless” actions leading up to her diagnosis. He also slammed her for leaving their family home in disarray after her move.
