Fans Wonder About Shannon Beador’s Relationship After Solo Cabo Trip
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is under fire for ignoring travel restrictions. Over the weekend, she shared photos from Cabo, Mexico. In the photo’s caption, she revealed that she is on vacation with her kids, a close friend, and the friend’s children.
Fans flooded the comment section, chiding the RHOC star for ignoring travel guidelines. However, some fans noticed a big absence in the photo.
Shannon Beador’s Boyfriend Missing From Vacation Photos
While Shannon’s three daughters – twins Stella and Adeline, 16, and Sophie, 19, – were in the photo, her boyfriend John Janssen wasn’t. Several fans took to the comments to ask about their relationship status.
When Shannon Beador first joined RHOC, she was married to David Beador. Their marriage soured after he cheated on her, all of which played out on-camera. Their divorce was finalized in April 2019, after a long battle.
A few months later, she went public with her romance with John Janssen. He has been very present on Season 15 of the show, particularly after they had to quarantine together during filming.
Not surprisingly, living together in quarantine did seem to affect their relationship, but are they still together?

In the latest episode of RHOC, Shannon Beador discovered she tested positive for COVID. This came after her daughters snuck out and went to a party amid the lockdown. At one point, Beador even asks her boyfriend if he thinks she gave him COVID. He answered that it was likely.
Before her daughters snuck out, the couple also had an issue with his son ignoring Shannon Beador’s house rules of staying put. When his son left to stay somewhere else, Janssen went, too. However, Janssen returned eventually, which didn’t sit well with Beador’s co-stars.
With all the tension between them amid the pandemic, fans wonder if Shannon Beador and John Janssen are still together. The questions only grew after Beador’s solo vacation photos.
But good news, RHOC fans. Shannon Beador replied to several comments confirming that they are still together. When one fan asked where Janssen was, Beador replied that she simply wanted a vacation with just her daughters.
Another fan asked if the couple split up, Beador responded with a simple “Nope,” according to Monsters & Critics.
Beador’s response to a few select comments implies that she also saw all the backlash. But that didn’t stop her from posting another vacation photo.
New Vacation Sets Off Flurry of Angry Comments
Despite getting major backlash from fans in her first vacation photo, Beador tried again with another one. The second photo shows her three daughters on the beach. In the caption, she tried to get ahead of any negativity. She wrote, “We tested for Covid before our trip and have antibodies.”
At the end of the caption, she pleaded with fans to “be kind.” Just like Beador ignored many comments on her previous posts, her followers ignored her plea for kindness. Disgruntled fans continued to slam her for ignoring travel restrictions, particularly after contracting COVID this summer.
