’90 Day Fiance’ Star Deavan Clegg Quashes Rumors She Was Fired
Most 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans likely want to fast-forward when Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee appear on the screen. In the show’s current timeline, the couple appears to be doing well and planning their Korean wedding. Meanwhile, in real life, Deavan and Jihoon have split and are heading for divorce. Since then, rumors are swirling that TLC let Clegg go. Deavan decided to address the rumors on her Instagram Story.
90 Day Fiance star Deavan Clegg not fired
Fans know only too well that Deavan Clegg has returned home to America with her daughter Drascilla and son Taeyang. Her relationship with Jihoon Lee was always stormy but has finally ended and their divorce is looming. In the meantime, Deavan has found a new man, Topher Park, with whom she is happily living.
Naturally, online haters are always on the troll and rumors have been doing the rounds that TLC has fired Deavan. Clegg decided to take to Instagram to deny the allegations. She posted on her Instagram Story to tell fans about her current situation.
Deavan’s firing is fake news
A lot of articles and YouTube videos are saying she doesn’t work for TLC anymore. She wrote this is “fake news” and that she wants to address the issue. In her post, Clegg said that she is “still attached” to Sharp Entertainment. She even mentioned a fellow cast member who was attacked in the same way. While Deavan wasn’t fired, she did say she doesn’t want to continue to film for the show.
So, Deavan is still an employee of Sharp Entertainment. With her saying she no longer wants to participate in 90 Day Fiance, it is unclear whether this will affect her contract. Surely if she still has a contract with Sharp Entertainment, she would be participating on TV again?
As noted by Cinema Blend, Deavan’s reference to a cast-mate who suffered the same allegations appears to refer to Paul and Karine Staehle. Paul headed to Instagram to dispute the rumors, despite the controversy surrounding the couple. In fact, Paul and Karine made a similar statement regarding the rumors of their firing.
As it is, fans have mostly had enough of Deavan and her new boyfriend. Many feel sorry for Jihoon that his son now has a new father. They have likely also had enough of Paul and Karine Staehler and all their drama. It would probably be no great loss if none of these cast members appeared on a TLC show again.
