Seemingly one of America’s favorite couples, The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, keep making headlines. This time Blake Shelton gives a swoon-worthy shout out to his love.
Blake Shelton Gives Sweet Shout Out to Gwen Stefani from the People’s Choice Awards
With all the details, Entertainment Tonight shares the heartwarming moment from the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards. Undoubtedly, beaming with pride, Shelton gave a short, but very sweet acceptance speech as Country Artist for 2020. Keeping with acceptance speech tradition, Shelton thanks his fans for their support. However, in true Blake Shelton fashion, he puts his touch on his acceptance speech. “Thank you to my new fiancée, Gwen Stefani. S-T-E-F-A-N-I if you need to Google it to figure out who she is,” jokes Shelton. In closing he thanks her “for inspiration.” Taking a trip back to the 2019 People’s Choice Awards, this year’s message to Shelton’s ladylove definitely is sweeter than last year. Last year, Shelton proclaims, “Gwen Stefani, I love the s— out of you.”
As far as inspiration goes, Gwen Stefani has been a part of several of Blake Shelton’s latest professional successes. Starting in 2016 with “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” from Shelton’s If I’m Honest album, the successful duets keep flowing from this powerhouse couple. Other notable singles include their holiday song “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and “Nobody But You.” Seemingly just as successful as “Happy Anywhere,” “Nobody But You” was No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Unfortunately, Gwen Stefani was not in Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California to view Shelton’s acceptance speech in person. However, she did the next best thing to show her love and support for her man. Instead of being in the audience in person, she views the awards show from a car outside, reports People. In a series of Instagram Stories, Stefani gives some inside details to how the awards show is going in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “So basically I have to stay in the car because of COVID but I’m here to support Blake in case he wins,” she shares with fans. Other inside looks show Shelton getting his temperature taken before entering the awards show. Also, fans get to see the happy couple jamming to their latest duet, “Happy Anywhere.”
Heartwarming moments between the couple isn’t the only things fan saw during Gwen Stefani’s Instagram Stories. While pulling her mask down to speak to fans, they get an up-close and personal look at her stunning engagement ring. Reportedly worth half a million dollars, the ring is a large square diamond with tapered baguettes on each side. DailyMail reports that the ring looks “to be around eight carats.”
