Netflix’s ‘Holiday Home Makeover With Mr. Christmas’ Is A Festive Binge
Netflix is getting into the festive mood by releasing a new series, Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas. This new home makeover series has a Christmas theme, something that interior designer Benjamin Bradley apparently has an obsession with. In fact, this fun new series is likely to bring a huge smile to homemakers’ faces while offering helpful tips for the perfect Christmas home.
Netflix’s Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, what with all the seasonal movies and holiday-theme shows about to drop. Accordingly, Netflix’s new home makeover series is in keeping with the theme.
In general, many of us do the same old thing every year, dragging out the box of ornaments and lights. However, this series looks to give us much better ideas to brighten our homes and enjoy a truly festive holiday. Indeed, it is likely to truly get us in the full spirit of Christmas in the run-up to the holiday.
Subsequently, Netflix dropped the trailer this week and the series looks to bring plenty of joy to viewers. The non-scripted series follows Bradley, as he works with a close-knit team of experts (dubbed elves by Bradley). The team is set to transform the homes of deserving people into true, festive and Santa Claus-approved wonders. This even includes a fire station, where the fire engine is decorated to festive effect.
Weird and wonderful makeover show
As noted by E! Online, the trailer gives the mood of a combination of Queer Eye mixed with Tidying Up with Marie Kondo and wrapped up around a Christmas tree.
Bradley can be heard to joke in the trailer, saying, “We’re going Christmas balls to the wall!” He explains that the holidays are about more than hanging the same old lights and ornaments. In fact, Benjamin says he can’t begin to describe how good it makes him feel. Bradley adds that, as a Christmas-obsessive interior designer, “It’s just pure magic.”
Family homes with a Christmas facelift
Throughout the series, viewers will get to see Bradley meeting the families. In the process, he will give their living rooms and any other spaces in their homes a much-needed Christmas-themed facelift. Along the way, he will teach them (and us) the basics of interior design.
One of the said deserving families gets a treat as they want to impress a relative who is “Santa Claus of the community.”
Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas looks a little weird and wacky, slightly ridiculous and perfect for chilling out with hot chocolate. No doubt, the interior decorator will inspire many of us to improve on our festive decorations as we head for the holiday. A perfect way to herald the end of a Grinch-like 2020!
Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas starts streaming on Netflix on November 18. Enjoy watching the trailer below.
