Former ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star, Larissa Lima, Reveals Medical Diagnosis
Larissa Lima, formerly of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, shares why one of her surgical procedures may have been medically necessary. Earlier today, Lima took to her Instagram stories to share before and after photos of her weight loss.

In addition to the remarkable before and after photos, Larissa Lima shares with fans that she had diastasis recti. According to Healthline, it is “the partial separation of the rectus abdominis, or ‘six-pack’ muscles, which meet at the midline of your stomach.” Furthermore, Healthline explains that this is common during and following pregnancy.
Larissa Lima shares a before and after photo at the request of a fan. The fan asks, “Can you please post a pic of before and after weight loss?” Lima obliges. Additionally, she remarks, “I was trying to look extremely skinny to hid it not healthy at all.” Following this post, she provides fans with more education on diastasis recti. For example, she explains that the procedure to repair diastasis recti is a tummy tuck or an abdominoplasty.
Where are her children?
While Lima rarely discusses her children, Heavy reports the former 90 Day Fiancé cast member has a son and a daughter from previous relationships. Consequently, both of her children are still in Brazil. Her oldest son, Arry, is adopted and lives with his aunt from his father’s side. Sadly, Lima discusses how she regrets putting Arry up for adoption. Ultimately, she explains that she wasn’t receiving child support, nor was she in communication with her family. Due to this, she says she was “financially and emotionally unable to take care of [her] son.” Heartbreakingly, she says, “It is a regret that I have to live with, and I don’t need anyone point[ing] the finger in my face.” Lima goes on to say that she hopes to “reconnect with him one day when he is old enough to understand that [she] made the best decision [she] could.”
Her youngest child, Luane, lives with Lima’s father. In a 2018 interview with InTouch Weekly, Lima shares, “I also have a daughter, from another relationship, who lives with my father and who I plan to bring to [the] United States one day when I am ready to take care of her.” Fans may remember her mention this on 90 Day Fiancé.

While it seems that fans are quick to judge Larissa Lima for multiple plastic surgery procedures, it seems that this one may have been medically necessary. However, there may be some vanity involved. One fan asks, “can lipo give you a flat stomach?” Lima answers, “Ultra flat, six packs…” It is hard to tell if she is serious or if there is some sarcasm on Lima’s part.
Towards the conclusion of this segment of her Instagram Story, a fan thanks the former 90 Day Fiance star for “being open about surgery.” Short and sweet, Lima responds, “You are welcome,” with a red heart emoji.
