‘Bachelor’ Colton Underwood Erases Instagram Past, New Beginning?
Former Bachelor Colton Underwood has been under fire in the past few months following his split from Cassie Randolph. The two had vowed to remain friends and support each other as friends. Things took an ugly turn, however, when Cassie filed for a restraining order against Colton. She even filed a police report regarding the allegations. Just a few days ago, Colton announced Cassie had dropped the order. Now, Colton has mysteriously deleted his past. What does it all mean?
Colton erases past from social media
It’s no secret Colton has thought for awhile that The Bachelor franchise is toxic. He announced Cassie and he had reached a private agreement in regards to all her allegations. Since then he has made some changes. One of those changes involves his Instagram account. Colton’s Instagram had been full of photos of his life. All of that is gone. Looking at his page there are zero posts.
So why would Colton erase everything? Colton has not made a statement at all recently aside from announcing he and Cassie had reached a private agreement. In the past, Colton has admitted to being depressed and even needing medication to get through filming the hit reality show. Perhaps erasing everything is a statement of creating a new beginning.
He has expressed desire to distance himself from The Bachelor. So, this may be his clean slate. Many fans and fellow alums do love Colton so hopefully he will start fresh and share his new life with fans.
Cassie’s restraining order
When Cassie initially filed the request for a restraining order, she was fearful. Sources said Colton had been acting oddly and Cassie really felt she had no other choice. Aside from harassing text messages, he also attached a tracking device to her vehicle. He would also show up outside her apartment, as well as, her parents house.
Colton had not spoken at all about the allegations other than sources saying he was shocked by her actions. Now, just a few days ago, he announced she was requesting the judge drop the order.
He said, “Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me. The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”
Cassie has not commented on dropping the restraining order.
