Just before former Bachelor Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph were due to appear back in court, he says the issue is settled. Colton is speaking out and saying Cassie has dropped the restraining order against him.
Cassie reportedly dropped restraining order
People is sharing everything Colton is saying about the situation. According to Colton, Cassie asked the courts to dismiss the temporary restraining order.
He said, “Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me. The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns.” He continued, “I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”
This marks the first time Colton has spoken out since the situation happened.
What happened?
The legal actions occurred approximately four months after they broke up. The relationship ended once Colton recovered from Covid-19. Of course, that illness had nothing to do with the split. They just decided to go separate directions with their lives.
When Cassie filed the temporary restraining order against Colton, she alleged he was sending disturbing messages. He also placed a tracking device on her car. Plus, he randomly showed up at not only her apartment, but also her parents house.
Ultimately, Cassie was fearful which prompted her to file the order request. A source said, “After the breakup, Cassie wanted to be friends, and she thought they were on good terms. Then the text messages and the frightening behavior started. Cassie was just terrified about how he was acting.”
The way they were
Colton met Cassie during his time as The Bachelor. The two were together for quite some time and sources say Colton was ready to get married. Cassie was not. So, they just weren’t on the same page and broke up.
Cassie went on and had an interview with Chris Harrison. Colton did not approve and felt they took advantage of her. This is when their troubles began. They were trying to keep things private, but that all changed.

Colton shared the following with Reality Steve. He said, “Cass stayed extremely professional and extremely quiet about our breakup. What bugged me was the fact that that show took advantage of her. I get very defensive over people I love and I know Cass is a big girl and she can fight her own battles, but I just know her heart and she doesn’t want to rock the boat and she loves people, even if they abuse her or even if they take advantage of her, which they did.”
She has yet to comment on Colton’s comments regarding dropping the order. Stay tuned for more details.
