Is This Duggar Family Birthday Tribute Genuine?
On every birthday in the Duggar family, parents Jim Bob and Michelle share a special post on social media. The post typically includes a few photos of the birthday person and a sweet caption too. In response to the birthday posts, Counting On fans wish them a happy birthday and gush over the photos.
As TV Shows Ace reports, Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth just turned 23. For her birthday, her family shared a birthday message on social media, as they do with all of their children. The family writes, “Happy 23rd birthday to our sweet Joy! Sometimes I can’t believe it, I still remember when you were born like it was yesterday. đŸ¥° You’ve taught me so much! I love you and thank God for your life. You are an amazing mom, a wonderful wife, and always our precious daughter. đŸ’— Happy birthday!!”
The post also features a few photos from Joy and Austin’s recent photo shoot. They had their pictures taken right after their daughter Evelyn was born.
As usual plenty of fans are chiming in to wish Joy a happy birthday. They admire the young woman for her strength. In summer 2019, she tragically lost her baby at 20 weeks gestation. She has since had a healthy baby, as mentioned. She also has a 2-year-old son, Gideon.
Duggar fans weigh in
Naturally, not everyone is happy with the post from Michelle and Jim Bob. Fans and critics alike are weighing in and pointing out that Joy‘s birthday post doesn’t seem genuine. They think it’s very surface-level and that Jim Bob and Michelle don’t truly know their daughter.
In the past, Duggar fans have been concerned about the lack of connection Jim Bob and Michelle have with their kids. Because they have 19 kids, fans feel that the parents can’t connect with their kids very well. Fans know imagine that raising 19 kids is no easy task, and they may be in survival mode.
Fans and critics feel that the birthday post the couple wrote for Joy is generic and could have been written for any of the family’s daughters. The family doesn’t point out anything specific about their daughter and who she is.
Duggar fans and critics are now thinking that there could be a rift between Joy and her parents. Joy and her sister Jill Dillard were buddies growing up, so fans have been speculating that Jill is influencing Joy too.
