‘Homestead Rescue: Raney Ranch’ Finale Exclusive: Marty Rolls Like An Egyptian
In the season finale of Homestead Rescue: Raney Ranch, patriarch Marty Raney struggles to finish the cliff-top cabin of their dreams while engineering a workaround for moving a huge shipping container.
In TV Shows Ace exclusive clip below, we see him orchestrating the entire task with his family at his side, while making sure the old log trick used by Egyptians will work for their purposes.
As you will see, the family work together and must risk another river crossing to get materials across for a final crucial build. And also tonight, we see Misty and Maciah begin to create their own dream cabin on the homestead.
What happens on Homestead Rescue: Raney Ranch?
Marty explains the situation and says: “We’ve got a shipping container that weighs over 5000 pounds. How do you move one? Grab some logs and use them just like the Egyptians did when they built the pyramids.”
Eyeing the process are his son Matt and Misty while they make sure the logs are aligned to make the task a smooth sailing affair.
He says: “That’s perfect…we gotta wreck that excavator to this right now.”
Marty then wonders if a metal shipping container floats. He says: “I asked several people in Alaska that sell them, no one had the answer.”
The pressure is on as Marty really needs that metal container to float in the rapidly running waters of the river. He says: “I need that shipping container to float, everything look good… I mean, as good as you would expect with what we’re doing…but does it look like we’ll auger in and hit the water?”
Everyone is convinced the logs are placed correctly and give Marty the signal to move forward with his audacious plan.
He says: “Okay stand back everyone… I’m gonna push it, here we go.”
After a Hail Mary prayer and pass, the container is set forth in its journey across the water.
They are all shocked and happy as the container is in fact, floating. Marty says: “Oh my God… it’s floating it’s floating!”
But then something happens at the end of the clip that suggests otherwise, you will just have to see what happens tonight.

Need advice and help from the Raneys. Need energy efficient wood heater with 2,000 sq ft; my neighbor caught it on fire last winter. Need to be totally off grid especially after going without elec due to hurricane ida it brought that realization home big time. Need greenhouse to have vegetables for hopefully the whole year and extra insulation added to my home. Am not disabled, have some funds and building materials already am 75 so not able to take on all this by myself. Also waiting for delivery of chainsaw so can begin cutting up downed limbs for firewood. Thank you
