Ready for some comfort and joy? Despite all crazy 2020 obstacles, Hallmark, Lifetime, Netflix and UPtv have come up big. Moreover, there will be over 80 Christmas movies to savor throughout the holidays. With so much to offer, it is no surprise that they are starting now.

So, get your hot chocolate and favorite ugly Christmas Sweater. Finally, the Christmas movies are here!

When Are Christmas Movies Starting?

Firstly, Lifetime will kick off the first It’s A Wonderful Lifetime Christmas movie on Friday, October 23, with Christmas On Ice. That will air at 8 p.m., Eastern. In fact, they will start airing non-stop Christmas at 8 a.m. that morning, starting with Kristen’s Christmas Past. Subsequently, they have made 30 new holiday movies for 2020.

In addition, Hallmark made sure that Christmas was not canceled in 2020. Between their two main stations, they created 40 new holiday movies for their fans. Remarkably, they filmed most of these movies after July 2020.

On the other hand, there will not be a When Calls The Heart Christmas movie in 2020. However, EP Brian Bird does promise that there will be a “holiday surprise.”

Starting on Friday, October 23, at 6 a.m. Eastern, the Hallmark Channel is kicking off their Countdown to Christmas movies 2020 with some favorites. The first movie they are airing is Cherished Memories: A Gift To Remember 2. But, their first 2020 Christmas movie, Jingle Bell Bride will premiere on Saturday, October 24, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries kick off their Miracles of Christmas movies on Thursday, October 22, at 10 p.m. Eastern with A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas. The sister station’s first 2020 Christmas movie is Christmas Tree Lane. This, and all premiere movies on this channel, will air at 10 p.m. Eastern. They have changed the time so that fans can watch both movies live, and tweet along with the stars of each movie.

Netflix will air 30 different Christmas movies, series and specials in 2020. Their first Here For The Holidays 2020 movie is Holidate, dropping on Wednesday, October 28.

Futhermore, anyone interested in A Charlie Brown Christmas? Apple+TV will offer all of the Peanuts holiday favorites.
