Chrishell Stause Loves The Support From ‘DWTS’ Fans
The Dancing With The Stars fandom can be harsh and opinionated at times. However, it also has plenty of positive moments. Selling Sunset star and Season 29 competitor Chrishell Stause says it’s like getting a “big group hug.” She recently opened up about her journey on the show so far in a blog post for ET.
Chrishell Stause Dived Into An Emotional Routine Last Week
Last week, Chrishell and her partner Gleb did a Contemporary routine to “Stars” by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. The song meant a lot to her and she listened to it a lot to cope with the death of her parents.
“I knew I was going to need to rely on my parents and Gleb to help me meet the moment and not crumble. I really did feel my parents with me so that was my superpower in the moment I was drawing on,” she wrote in the blog post.
She goes on to say that competition on Dancing with the Stars has been “the most rewarding, life-changing experience.”
“The fan support has been overwhelming in the best possible way. I am so touched by people sharing their stories and how they relate to me, and I am insanely grateful. It feels like a big group hug that couldn’t have come at a better time considering the times we are living in.” Chrishell writes.

The Couple Prepares for Villains Night
Next week, Dancing With The Stars is kicking off its Halloween celebration with a special Villains Night episode. Chrishell and Gleb will perform a Paso Doble to “In the Air Tonight” by VonLichten. Disney’s Maleficent inspired their costumes.
“I LOVE Halloween and I cannot wait to be able to dress up on this large of a scale,” she said. She added that she plans to rewatch Maleficent to practice. Getting into character really helps her dance better during theme weeks. During Disney Night, Gleb and Chrishell dressed as Prince Charming and Cinderella. It was one of their best performances on the season so far.
The couple seems to have good luck with theme weeks. They may just pull off another great routine. They are currently at the bottom of the leader board, so they need the extra points.
Chrishell also clarifies that while she is excited about the new routine, it wasn’t her first choice. She admits she really wanted to dance to “Mother of Dragons” from Game of Thrones. The Selling Sunset star really wanted to see Gleb dressed as Jon Snow. For one reason or another, that idea was shot down.
Are you excited to see what Chrishell and Gleb bring to the table on Monday night? Make sure to tune in and see for yourself. Villains Night kicks off at 8 PM on ABC. Don’t miss a single exciting minute!
