What Is Hallmark’s On The 12th Date Of Christmas About?
According to Hallmark’s official press release, Jennifer (Jansen) is a high energy game designer, who works with a low-key Aidan (Hynes). Aidan may know more than Jennifer, but he is not someone willing to share his knowledge.
The two game designers are working on a project for a big time client, the Devonshire Hotel. They are opening up a hotel in Chicago and the two have a big assignment. They are going to create a “12 Day of Christmas” scavenger hunt!
This cannot be your run-of-the-mill scavenger hunt. The Devonshire Hotel is a client with big expectations. So, this scavenger hunt has a tall order: romantic, city-wide and it has to go with the “12 Days of Christmas” theme. The biggest challenge is that they have less than a week to accomplish this.
Moreover, if Jennifer and Aidan pull this off, this client could give them all of their business. Then, there is that added possibility: a promotion. They each want to become head game designer. Pulling this scavenger hunt could lead to that coveted role.
As the couple runs around Chicago, doing all sorts of romantic Christmasy things for the scavenger hunt, they discover that opposite styles attract. They suddenly see each other in a different light. They actually make a really great couple. Will the competition for the promotion kill off their romance?

On Saturday, October 17, Hallmark’s Sweet Autumn is premiering at 9 p.m. eastern. During the the premiere of the last 2020 Fall Festival movie will be a sneak peek at The 12th Date Of Christmas.
Sweet Autumn stars two Hallmark fan favorites, Nikki DeLoach (Two Turtle Doves) and Andrew Walker (Bride For Christmas). This is the story of Maggie, who inherits her late Aunt Dee’s famed maple candy business, along with Dex, the maple supplier. Sounds like the late Aunt Dee was a bit of a matchmaker!
