We reported that Adam Busby shared photos of the kids making “beaded lanyards for their masks.” It came during Tropical Storm Beta. The colorful lanyards looked like a great idea. But, we also reported that the kids never finished them up. So, Danielle shared how she completed them for the kids. But, fans of the TLC show agreed all kids go through that stage. And, one day she’d look back with fond memories to her crafting days.

But that craft fail wasn’t a mixup that Danielle caused. The OutDaughtered mom revealed another project that the kids did over the weekend, by the looks of it. On October 5, she shared photos of the kids working on another “Pinterest” craft idea. They used dye and ice and made their own tie-dye shirts for a school event. But then, Danielle admitted to a “#Momfail.”

Danielle’s Mom fail

Danielle wrote in her caption, “Another Pinterest activity today, and a fun one at that. 😋” She explained. “We made the ice method tie-dye shirts for spirit week at school. ” And the shirts were for wearing to school on “Monday.” But then, she explained her fail. She noted, “I’m just hoping I can remember whose was whose 🤦🏻‍♀️. #momfail for not writing their names on the tees first 😣.”

Well, fans assured the OutDaughtered mom that probably, the kids could tell her. After all, each one probably recalls their very own choices. And no doubt, Blayke’s comes as a bigger size. Then, another fan told Danielle she didn’t fail. Actually, they pointed out, “The fact that you’re doing this is a mom win! Lol. I only have 2 children and I don’t do fun activities like this. 🤦🏼‍♀️.”

How people use ice for tie-dye tees

One fan asked how people use ice when making tie-dye shirts. One helpful fan said they run a “small tie-dye business.” Then they explained, “you tie up your shirts like normal. And the put ice on top! You can either put dye powder on the shirts before you put the ice on, or you can put dye liquid on after you put the ice on! Both ways look really cool!”
