Who Is ‘Bachelorette’ Tayshia Adams’ Ex-Husband Josh Bourelle?
As The Bachelorette gets ready to finally premiere this month, many may not know some interesting facts about one of the leads. Tayshia Adams was married before. The marriage did not last long, but still many may be unaware it happened. So, who is Josh Bourelle? Read on to find out more about Tayshia’s ex-husband and short lived marriage.
Who is Tayshia’s ex, Josh Bourelle?
US Weekly shared some facts about Josh. Tayshia and Josh tied the knot in February 2016. The marriage didn’t last long. Josh filed for a divorce in October of the following year. The two went their separate ways and Tayshia took back her maiden name.
Josh was Tayshia’s first real boyfriend. The couple were together throughout Tayshia’s college days. In fact, they were together six years. Following college graduation Josh proposed to Tayshia. They were engaged about a year before getting married.
And, adding more pressure to their relationship, they did a lot of it long distance. She was attending college in Orange County while he lived in another part of California.
As far as Josh’s career path, he is a licensed roofing contractor. In fact, he co-owns a roofing business. His Instagram profile says he is co-owner of D&J Roofing Inc. — a residential and commercial roofing company based in Southern California.

So what happened?
The bottom line is they just couldn’t make it work. Tayshia spoke about it once on Instagram nearly two years ago. She said, “My divorced used to be something I was ashamed of.” Tayshia continued, “Because to me it represented, not only to myself but to everyone that knew me, that I had failed at marriage, something I value so highly. It made me question my worth and completely dimmed the light inside of me that used to shine so brightly.”
She went on to say, “It’s been a rough journey to pick up the pieces and rebuild my idea of the life I want, but I will tell you this: I would not be able to be the strong, independent and smiling woman I am today without my faith or the support of my close family and friends that have supported me unconditionally.”
During a podcast with Nick Viall, Tayshia said she never wanted to get divorced. She was in it for the long haul. Tayshia admitted she knows you can’t make someone want to be married to you. Sometimes even with hard work, a marriage just doesn’t work out.
