‘RHOA’: NeNe Leakes Goes On Twitter Rant, Calls Andy Cohen An ‘Ole Racist’
In the past few months, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has promised fans dirt on Bravo. During her tense negotiations, she made several threats to reveal racism from the network. Now that she is officially done with the show, it seems she’s making good on those promises.
RHOA’s NeNe Goes On Twitter Rant, Calls Andy Cohen ‘Racist’
RHOA fans are waking up to some very revealing tweets from NeNe Leakes. She went on a late-night Twitter rant on Sunday, September 27. Her target? Talk show hosts Andy Cohen and Wendy Williams.
For the past few months, the RHOA star has alluded to her negative experience with Bravo. However, she still hasn’t detailed those experiences. But her recent tweets give fans an idea of the “systematic racism” she’s faced at Bravo. In a series of tweets, she calls out Andy Cohen for being racist.
While she didn’t give details about why he’s racist, she said it several times.
She then retweeted missives of support from fans. What set her over the edge?
Explosive Tweets Came After Wendy Williams’ Appearance on WWHL
NeNe has an on-off friendship with talk show host Wendy Williams. A few months ago, Wendy claimed that NeNe told her she quit RHOA. NeNe denied it at the time, but last week, she confirmed that she won’t be returning for Season 13.
Gossip online surmises that NeNe was fired, but NeNe said that negotiations fell apart. But either way, NeNe is NOT happy that she was a topic of discussion on WWHL. Andy and Wendy talked about NeNe’s exit and her future with the show.
ET reports that Wendy told Andy that any NeNe spin-off would be boring. She said, “What are they going to do? Is it going to be like Gregg and NeNe? Are they going to give them another reality show? That’s boring.”
Wendy’s appearance seems to be the catalyst for NeNe’s Twitter rant. She took aim at Wendy Williams, calling her a “cokehead.”
NeNe Leakes Declares WAR on Andy Cohen and Bravo
NeNe seems ready to burn any bridge she has left with Bravo. In addition to calling Andy Cohen a “racist,” she declared all-out WAR on Bravo. She asked fans to hit her up with the name of a discrimination lawyer.
However, she did not specify how she was discriminated against. NeNe has been very outspoken the last few months about her sour experience working in television.
