Hallmark’s ‘Countdown To Christmas’ 2020 Includes Days, GH, AMC Alums, And More

On Wednesday, Hallmark announced that they are premiering 40+ new holiday movies in 2020. Subsequently, Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas is staring on October 23. Consequently, that means 24 hours a day of holiday fun. Most importantly, this gives soap fans an opportunity to see some faves from their soaps. Above all, they include stars from all of the day and evening soaps. 

Above all for soap fans, this means some fan favorites will be frolicking in the snow, making cookies and finding love over the holiday. So, who is starring in the upcoming Hallmark Channel selections?

Firstly, Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady DiMera) from Days of Our Lives is in A Bright & Merry Christmas. Furthermore, she is once again parted up with her The Irresistible Blueberry Farm co-star, Marc Blucas.

General Hospital fans are still clamoring for Ryan Paevey to return as Nathan West. However, they have to be placated with the fact that he is a Hallmark hunk. Subsequently, Paevey is back for another movie with director Ron Oliver. This movie is A Timeless Christmas. In addition, this is a time-travel romance that co-stars Erin Cahill.

Moreover, as Ryan portrays Charles, this means he will be wearing a smoking jacket and looking like a classic screen star.

A Timeless Christmas: Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan, GH). Premieres on Sunday, November 15, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

The Christmas House: Jonathan Bennett (ex-JR, All My Children) and Robert Buckley (ex-Clay, One Tree Hill). Premieres on Sunday, November 22, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

A Bright And Merry Christmas: Alison Sweeney (Sami, Days). Premieres on Wednesday, November 25, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Five Star Christmas: Bethany Joy Lenz (ex-Michelle, Guiding Light) and Victor Webster (ex-Nicholas, Days). Premieres on Thursday, November 26, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ‘Miracles of Christmas’ Starring Soap Faves

Moreover, don’t forget that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries air the “Miracles of Christmas” movies 24/7. Firstly, this starts on October 23. Moreover, there are a few soap stars that fans will certainly want to watch this upcoming holiday season.

Consequently, perhaps the most exciting name in the 2020 season is Days of Our Lives star, Drake Hogestyn. Drake has entertained soap fans since 1986. Certainly, it is very confronting to see his smiling face in the upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie, Christmas Tree Lane.

In addition, he shared on Twitter that he was happy for the opportunity to work during the coronavirus quarantine. Subsequently, this prevented him from working on Days. Instead, he was able to play Alicia Witt’s dad and delight Christmas movie fans around the world.
