Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas Promises Whimsical Holiday: All The Movies, Times

Hallmark has managed to do something that most networks have not been able to do during this worldwide pandemic. Moreover, they have managed to get over 40 brand new Christmas movies filmed and ready for a spectacular 2020 holiday season.

Subsequently what are the names of the movies, who is starring in them and what are they about. Certainly, we have it all here!

Lots of Whimsy This Holiday Season

The Hallmark Channel has issued a press release with the names and information of all of their 2020 Christmas movies. Throughout the difficult 2020, Hallmark has aired many Christmas marathons. This has given viewers a lot of comfort during this difficult time. Likewise, the 2020 selections of Christmas and Holiday movies promise comfort, joy and something more.

Subsequently, there appears to be a whimsical flair to many of the 2020 “Countdown To Christmas” titles. For example, Candace Cameron Bure recently was on Home & Family. The Fuller House star shared that her 2020 Christmas movie, If I Only Had Christmas, is based on The Wizard of Oz.

In the movie, there are a lot of Wizard of Oz Easter eggs. Cameron plays Darcy Gale. She lives in Connecticut, but is headed to a job opportunity in Connecticut. Along the way, there is Jackie Crowe, who is a bit of a scatter brain. Next, there is Riley Lyons, who doesn’t have courage. Lastly, there is a Bridget Tinsley, who is a heartless tin woman.

Although Candace Cameron Bure doesn’t like to to pick her favorite Hallmark Christmas movie, she has made a bold statement. This movie is her all time favorite Hallmark Christmas movie. That is because The Wizard Of Oz is her all time favorite movie.  In addition, you can catch this movie on November 29 on the Hallmark Channel.

Hallmark Promises Christmas Magic

Well, A Nashville Christmas Carol is an homage to the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. Although Hallmark has not included James Denton’s name in the brief synopsis, Denton recently revealed he is filming his first Hallmark Christmas movie. Subsequently, he described it as like It’s A Wonderful Life or Heaven Can Wait.

The Nashville native would be perfect for in this role, and has a place in the music city. But, he said the name of the movie he was part of was called A Kiss Before Christmas. Could the Good Witch star  be in this star-studded production and could it have been renamed? We still have to wait to get that news.

Lacey Chabert Is Now Hallmark Christmas Queen

Lacey Chabert is now officially the Hallmark Christmas Queen. That is because she is in two Christmas movies. That means that she has done 10 Hallmark Christmas movies, to Candace Cameron Bure’s nine.

On November, Lacey is starring in Christmas Waltz, along with Will Kemp. Consequently, this movie will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on November 28.

Lacey’s second 2020 Hallmark Christmas movie is the Blake Shelton produced, Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas. Moreover, this is the third movie based on the Blake Shelton song, “Time For Me To Come Home.”

Where Is When Calls The Heart Christmas?

What is missing on the lists is the When Calls the Heart Christmas movie. This traditionally airs on Christmas Day. Although Hallmark has already announced that there will be a WCTH Christmas movie, those plans have now changed.

There will not be a When Calls The Heart Christmas 2020 movie. Instead, there will be a WCTH Christmas special, and there will be two additional episodes tacked onto the Season 8 season.

Hallmark’s Same Sex Christmas Movie

Hallmark will air their first LGBTQ Christmas movie on November 22. The movie, The Christmas House, stars Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls) and Brad Harder (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries). This is a family reunion story that includes the couple waiting on adoption news at Christmas.
