Stassi Jokes About Her ‘Basic’ Look at Lala Kent’s Gender Reveal Party
Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder was one of many Bravolebrities in attendance for Lala Kent’s gender reveal party. Lala announced her pregnancy earlier this month. Stassi is also pregnant. Her pregnancy announcement came within days of being let go from Bravo in June for racially insensitive behavior.
Before her firing, Stassi used to post her OOTD (outfit of the day) on Instagram. However, since her firing, she has gone mostly IG quiet, particulary on her Feed. She did post several videos to her IG Stories while celebrating Lala’s big news. Lala and Randall Emmett, like Stassi, are having a GIRL.
Pump Rules’ Stassi Jokes Her Party Outfit Was ‘Basic’
It seems that Stassi is not enjoying the limited options for maternity wear. After the gender reveal party, some of the gang went out. The Next Level Basic author shared a photo with Pump Rules co-star Brittany Cartwright.
In the photo, Stassi dons a white shirt-dress with a bulky grey sweater over it. She is also wearing a tan coat. Her regular heels are replaced with plain black loafers.
Brittany is also dressed down, pairing a black dress with a grey sweater and sneakers. She is also wearing a brown hat. Both ladies are wearing masks, likely due to the people milling around behind them.
Stassi added a Starbucks cup sticker, along with a pumpkin and spice leaf to the photo. At the bottom of the snapshot, she wrote, “Could not look more basic.”
It seems the two Pump Rules stars were getting pumpkin lattes, the drink of choice for ‘basic’ white women.
Tearful Lala Kent Gushes Over Gender Reveal
The photo of Brittany Cartwright isn’t all Stassi shared to her IG Stories. She also posted a video from earlier in the day. Lala and Randall opted for a skydiver with a pink or blue parachute to reveal their baby’s gender. The skydiver floated down with a pink parachute, indicating a girl.
While Lala earlier guessed she was having a boy, she was ECSTATIC to find out otherwise. In a video recorded by Stassi, an emotional Lala tearfully says, “We’re having a baby girl!”
Stassi added the caption, “Ahhhh, we’re starting a next generation coven.”
This is a reference to the self-named ‘Witches of WeHo.” The ‘coven’ includes Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Stassi and now, apparently Lala.
Some Pump Rules Stars Missing From Gender Reveal Party
Despite Katie and Stassi shunning Kristen for much of 2019, the friends reunited after Kristen and Stassi were both fired by Bravo. Kristen was in attendance for the gender reveal party. However, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval and Scheana Shay were not there.
Pump Rules fans will remember that Ariana and Scheana were the first to befriend Lala when the others shunned her for dating a married man. However, Lala is no longer close to Ariana and Scheana now that the others have accepted her.
When Lala made her pregnancy public on her podcast, she had some thoughts on motherhood, per People. On giving her future child advice, she said,
“I think I would be much more delicate if it was gonna be a chick but honestly, I think the one thing would be: ‘you’re safe with me. This world is really gonna try to kick your ass but I got you boo. I’m gonna kick its ass for you.'”
Bravo has yet to announce if Vanderpump Rules will return for Season 9. If it does, Lala’s pregnancy will likely feature heavily. Follow us on social media for all the latest TV news.
