Fans Troll Lala Kent’s Baby Gender Reveal Party: ‘Don’t Start a Fire’
If you missed it: Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is pregnant. She made the announcement on her podcast on September 2. Which was also her 30th birthday. A week later, her fiance, Randall Emmett, shared the first ultrasound of their baby.
He also revealed that the baby’s gender will be revealed on Saturday, September 19. On the 18th, he took to Instagram to ask fans to guess if it will be a boy or a girl. Some fans obliged, but many others took the opportunity to troll baby reveal parties.
Fans Joke ‘Don’t Start a Fire’ to Vanderpump Rules Stars
Randall Emmett posted a photo of himself and Lala from the set of his movie. He is currently wrapping up filming on Midnight in the Switchgrass. The movie will be his debut as a director, though he will continue to produce movies, as well. In the photo, both Randall and Lala are wearing masks. Or in Lala’s case, a bandanna.

In the comments, Randall excitedly exclaims, “Gender reveal tomorrow!!!” He then asks his followers if they think Lala will be having a boy or girl.
Unfortunately, many fans took the opportunity to make inappropriate jokes about a recent incident. A baby reveal in California made the news for causing a wide-spreading fire.
Over Labor Day weekend, a couple used a “pyrotechnic device” to reveal their baby’s gender, CNN reports. However, due to the dry conditions of the forests in California, the device sparked a huge fire.
So, many fans replied to Randall’s post with a joke. “Don’t start a fire,” they wrote. But one fan quickly chided them, noting that a firefighter lost their life while battling the fire.
One Fan Thinks Baby Reveal Should Be Postponed Out of Respect
Another fan was very upset with Randall for even having a baby reveal right now. The follower felt it was disrespectful after Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death on September 18. The fan slammed Lala and Randall for being “self-involved.”
However, another follower came to the Pump Rules stars’ defense. They said that Randall and Lala couldn’t – and shouldn’t – cancel something they already planned and were excited about.
Lala’s former Pump Rules co-star, Stassi Schroeder, chimed in on the comment. Stassi is under fire again after her disastrous interview with Tamron Hall earlier this week. Stassi is pregnant herself. She made the announcement in June, days after being let go by Bravo for racially insensitive behavior.
Stassi replied to Randall’s post that she, “can’t waittttttt.” Stassi is expecting a girl with her fiance, Beau Clark, in early 2021.
So, Do Fans Think Lala Kent is Expecting a Boy or Girl?
Not all fans took the chance to troll Randall and Lala. Some fans took the time to give their best guess for the baby’s gender. The responses were mixed. One fan wrote that they think it’s a boy because Lala is a “boy mom.” A different fan wrote the opposite – that Randall seems like a “girl dad.”
