Lisa Vanderpump, Game Show Host? Inside the Rumors
Lisa Vanderpump, Game Show Host? It seems like a very real possibility for the Vanderpump Rules star. Lisa Vanderpump has a lot of irons in the fire, despite no longer appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
One of Lisa’s former co-stars, Kathryn Edwards, recently spoke out about Lisa leaving RHOBH after Season 9. Allegedly, Lisa never intended to actually leave, but Bravo called her bluff. However, Lisa says this, and other allegations by Kathryn Edwards, are simply not true.
Lisa Vanderpump has too much going on to worry about such petty issues, anyway. A new report reveals that Caesars Entertainment wants to tap Lisa Vanderpump as a host.
Lisa Vanderpump, Game Show Host?
CELEB Magazine recently spoke to the executive consultant for Caesars Entertainment. The company brings entertainment to the Caesars’ Las Vegas properties. The exec, Michael Gruber, helped bring Love Island USA to fruition, filming in a shuttered Las Vegas resort.
Love Island USA is a mega-popular CBS show that airs live several nights a week.
The executive didn’t give many details about a possible venture with Lisa Vanderpump. He did say that the company wants Lisa Vanderpump to be ‘host” of a show with ties to the “gaming” industry. He notes that gaming makes up 70% of the revenue in Las Vegas.
As fans know, Lisa Vanderpump opened Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In fact, the restaurant was rumored to be getting a spin-off similar to Vanderpump Rules. Any news on that spin-off is on hold, but NBC DID confirm a different spin-off.
Vanderpump Dogs Coming to Peacock Streaming
In July, NBC’s new streaming service, Peacock TV, aired a commercial teasing new content. Included in the commercial was a glimpse of Lisa Vanderpump, followed by a dog. Vanderpump Dogs is the name of Lisa Vanderpump’s dog rescue organization. Fans quickly put two-and-two together.
NBC quickly confirmed that fans saw what they thought they saw. And Vanderpump Dogs will be on the streaming service at some point in the future.
Not much has been revealed about the new show. Last month, Lisa described it as “heartwarming and heartbreaking” stories of the dog rescue work.
Vanderpump Rules Boss Launches New Podcast
A dog-centric spin-off isn’t Lisa Vanderpump’s only new venture! The Vanderpump Rules boss just launched her podcast, All Things Vanderpump. She dropped not one, not two, but THREE episodes as a treat to fans on her 60th birthday. The episodes came out on September 15.
Additionally, the podcast tapings are filmed for a YouTube channel. One of Lisa Vanderpump’s first guests was MTV star Steve-O. You can watch the podcast interview below.
Bravo has yet to announce what the future holds for Vanderpump Rules. The show has been on hold due to the pandemic, as SUR hasn’t been open since March. However, the restaurant may be reopening soon. Follow our social media for all the latest TV news.
