One of the stars of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City married her grandmother’s husband. That’s right – Mary Cosby’s husband is her former step-grandfather! And now new details emerge about the shocking union.
RHOSLC Star’s Husband is Her Grandmother’s Ex
Back in November of 2019, Bravo announced a new Real Housewives set in Salt Lake City. Finally, after a long eight months of anticipation, the network dropped the trailer last week. As well as a premiere date. In November, Bravoholics will get a glimpse at the lives of six wealthy Salt Lake City women.
The women include Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen Shah. Mary Cosby is making headlines two months ahead of the RHOSLC premiere after news of her unconventional marriage leaks. The Salt Lake City native’s husband was her grandmother’s husband first!
Mary Cosby’s grandmother passed away in 1997. Subsequently, Mary Cosby wed her dead grandmother’s second husband, Robert Cosby, in a year later.
Rumors Swirl Surrounding Mary Cosby Marrying For Money
As if marrying your step-grandfather isn’t scandal enough, there is gossip about WHY Mary Cosby would marry her grandmother’s ex. Rosemary Cosby’s daughter, Rosalind Cazares, has some serious allegations regarding her step-father’s marriage to Mary Cosby.
The daughter and step-dad are locked in a bitter legal battle over the Cosby family inheritance. For one thing, Rosalind alleges that legal documents regarding the estate were forged by Robert Cosby.
The court ruled in her favor and awarded her $1.2 million, All About the Tea reports. However, a new feud is brewing over allegations of financial mismanagement.

Rosalind Cosby’s allegations against her step-father don’t stop at fraud. Furthermore, she also accused him of murdering her grandmother! She even had her late grandmother’s body exhumed. However, the medical examiner found that Rosemary Cosby died of natural causes.
But that didn’t stop the rumors and innuendo regarding Mary Cosby marrying her step-grandfather.
There is a strong chance that the family drama will come up on Season 1 of RHOSLC. In addition to Mary Cosby’s drama, fans will find out about the friendship between the stars.
Meanwhile, Bravoholics are already on the lookout on social media for signs of a feud. In fact, rumors came up about Jen Shah potentially feuding with co-star Heather Gay after Jen Shah’s cryptic post.
Over the weekend, the RHOSLC star posted a missive to *someone* demanding that they remove support of Black Lives Matter from their profile. Jen Shah alleges that this person has shown racist behavior toward her and her family.
Fans immediately jumped on the idea that the post was about Heather Gay. Sadly, Jen Shah never made good on her promise to bring receipts.
