Fans Demand Bravo Fire Kelly Dodd. What Did She Do NOW?
The Real Housewives of Orange County fans have not been happy with Kelly Dodd all summer. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, she has made some very questionable comments. Fans seem to absolutely detest anything she posts. In fact, she couldn’t even take a boat ride without fans bringing politics into it.
In the last few weeks, Kelly has stepped up her assault on the idea that masks protect from COVID. Last week, she posted a meme that riled fans. The meme suggested that wearing a mask to walk into a restaurant only to take it off at the table is stupid.
It got worse in the comments, where the RHOC star said the pandemic is basically over. The fans disagreed. However, Kelly is not one to shy away from controversy. She posted a video to her Instagram that REALLY set fans – and Twitter – off.
Kelly Dodd’s Tweet Temporarily Blocked For ‘Misinformation’
In the early, early hours of September 11, Kelly took to her social media to share a video. Her tweet is timestamped as 12:32 am (EST.) The video is a doctor explaining why face masks are ineffective. It comes from the video hosting service @BitChute, tagged in the tweet.
The tweet was temporarily hidden and marked as “misinformation” by Twitter. However, it was fully visible on her Instagram account. Clicking the link to the video on Twitter still pops up a warning that it is “spammy or unsafe” content.
Kelly has not been shy about her disdain for the mask mandates in California and New York. She also routinely flouted the travel ban by flying back and forth between the states throughout the pandemic. Her fiance, Rick Leventhal, is a contributor to Fox News. While he recently put his NYC home on the market, he still broadcasts from the Big Apple.
Meanwhile, Kelly resides in California. Fans have called her out many times for ignoring the quarantine guidelines.
RHOC Fans Want Bravo to Take Action NOW
Fans immediately took to Twitter to shame Kelly for spreading misinformation. Many fans tagged @BravoTV and Andy Cohen (@Andy) in their tweets. One fan addressed their tweet directly at Bravo, saying Kelly’s “offensive” tweet reflected poorly on the network.
@BravoTV This is so offensive and spreads the wrong message. You need to reign this nut in. She is a representative of @BravoTV and with 200,000 dead Americans you need to check your brand representatives AKA housewives rants. They reflect you Bravo…..

Bravo already went on a mass firing spree in June. Vanderpump Rules lost four of their cast members due to past racist behavior. Most notably, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute lost their cushy reality show gigs. Shortly afterward, Andy Cohen promised more accountability was coming, but it hasn’t happened yet.
#FireKellyDodd Picks Up Steam Again After RHOC Season 15 Trailer
Fans want Kelly Dodd gone from RHOC. That much is very clear. Screenrant noted that the outrage was renewed upon Bravo releasing the Season 15 trailer. At that point, Bravo confirmed that Kelly Dodd would be back for another season, despite her behavior.
In addition to the Pump Rules stars, Bravo fired a star from Below Deck Med and then edited him out of the new season. One fan on Twitter writes that if Bravo can do that, they could also do it for RHOC Season 15.
