Sonja Morgan could lose her Sonja Morgan New York Signature collection. New York-based department store Century 21 filed for bankruptcy on Thursday, September 21. The business said it plans to close all of its stores. Century 21 has 13 stores in New York City and the metropolitan areas.

As of Thursday, it had 1,400 employees that will lose their jobs. The company filed for bankruptcy due to behind payments on its business interruption insurance. That led to the demise of Century 21 and the Sonja Morgan collection. RHONY fans flocked to Twitter to share their concern for the reality star.

On Thursday, the company said it will close all 13 of its department stores as it plans to liquidate all of its assets under chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York.
