Are you ready to dance?! ABC is going full steam ahead with a new season of Dancing With The Stars. So much of what the show will look like is up in the air. Will fans be in the ballroom? How will the pros train their celebrities in the era of COVID?

But ABC gave fans the answer to one question: Which pros will return for Season 29?

Dancing With The Stars Announces Pros, Including First Black Female Pro Dancer

Continuing their commitment to diversity, ABC is bringing on the first Black female pro, Britt Stewart. She joins returning champion Alan Bersten, along with Peta Murgatroyd and Gleb Savchenko.

Fan favorite and two-time champion Cheryl Burke returns for another season, as well. Sharna Burgess, Brandon Armstrong and Keo Motsepe will also be back on the dance floor.

This season will feature three married couples. Valentin Chmerkovskiy and his wife Jenna Johnson. Emma Slater and Sasha Farber will compete against one another. Rounding out the couples in the pro dancers are Pasha Pashkov and his wife, first-timer Daniella Karagach.

The announcement on Good Morning America also revealed another change to DWTS.

DWTS Wild New Rule Change: Pros Must Live Apart

Yes, even the married couples! To prevent the spread of COVID among the cast, the professional dancers must self-isolate. The network wants to prevent losing more than one dancer should they come down with coronavirus.

ABC didn’t announce if that means the professional dancers will be quarantining with their celebrity partners. But Sasha and Emma spoke to GMA about living apart. They revealed that it will change the way they learn the dances, as they often practice together, despite being competitors.

DWTS Celebs TBA Later

So far, ABC has yet to announce any other stars for Season 29 besides The Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe. In fact, even online rumors are difficult to find. Some of the names include Tiger King’s Carole Baskin and rocker Vince Neil.

One popular report is that coronavirus task force member Dr. Fauci was offered a spot on the dance floor. But he turned it down for the time being.

While ABC has yet to announce the stars, they SHOCKED fans earlier this month with a host change. Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron were unceremoniously replaced with America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks. And fans were not happy about it. Many fans are threatening to boycott the show without Tom as host.

It does appear that judge Bruno Tonioli will return. Reportedly, he chose DWTS over the UK show Strictly Comes Dancing. He couldn’t do both as usual due to COVID concerns. ABC has yet to officially announce the judges for Season 29.
