Exclusive Interview: Lendale Johnson Talks New Reality Show ‘Deuces and Love’
TV Shows Ace recently got the chance to talk to Lendale Johnson about his new reality show Deuces and Love that will air on Amazon.
Interview with Lendale Johnson
How did this show come about for you?
After launching The Johnson High Performance Tennis Academy; a celebrity and public tennis academy in New York in 2018 with astounding success (I worked with Katie Holmes). I felt like that was the right step to broaden my career and entrepreneurship. First and foremost a reality show is a business.
What celebrities can we expect to see on Deuces And Love?
Pose Star and Emmy award winner Billy Porter has confirmed, I already filmed and interviewed Teresa Giudice, awaiting to hear back from James Blake, Venus Williams, and Kym Whitley.
There are more but I’ll shut my mouth.
Did quarantine really slow down filming? Are you back to it now?
Ha. It did more than that! But I’m grateful for the silver lining yes.
Explain how you will get the word out about Black Lives Matter with this show.
Conversations, Conversations, conversations, the hard ones. NAACP’s President and CEO Derrick Johnson and I are collaborating.
