What Does Jinger Vuolo Regret In Life?
Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo recently launched their own podcast, which mostly includes religious topics. The Counting On couple releases new episodes of their Hope We Hold podcast every Wednesday. They’ve released a handful of podcast episodes by now, and some Duggar fans seem to like what the couple has to share.
On the most recent episode, the couple offers advice to single people. Jinger already received some backlash for this though. That’s because she didn’t spend a lot of time single herself. She got married very young, so Duggar fans argue that she shouldn’t be giving advice on the topic.
Nonetheless, other parts of the podcast are catching listeners’ attention now. Specifically, fans are noticing that Jinger seems unhappy that she missed out on parts of her life while she was preparing to get married.

Jinger Vuolo seems to address her regrets in life
As noted by Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball, it’s possible that Jinger alludes to some of the regrets she has in life. Katie talks about how Jinger didn’t have the opportunity to experience everything she might have wanted to. Jinger intended to get married at 18 years old and ended up getting married when she was 22. But, she spent much of that time preparing for marriage, rather than pursuing anything else.
In the podcast episode, Jinger says, “Taking time while you’re single to study, to grow, to explore, and to expand your own interests. That’s something I think I wish I would have done more in my life ’cause I look back and I think ‘man, I really could’ve engaged more, I could’ve studied theory for the piano because I really love music. And I could’ve done more of that study, or I could’ve explored other things.’ Who knows what I could’ve learned?”
Jeremy then asks her if she was “so captivated by the thought of marriage” that it took away from other things in her life.
Then, Jinger seems to agree. She says that she “wasn’t as diligent” as she could have been. She talks about how she was thinking that she might be courting each year. So, she didn’t take the opportunity to study those things or take courses. She also mentions that she had the “wrong perspective.”
So, she seems to feel like she doesn’t have a lot of life experience.
In the video, Katie Joy points out that this might be the fault of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She doesn’t blame Jinger for not having this experience.
