’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Tell TLC to Fire Paul Staehle Over Karine’s Assault Claims
90 Day Fiancé fans are petitioning TLC to remove him from the show after Karine fled from Paul Staehle due to alleged abuse. Fans have also been comparing notes on social media about the explosive fight and police showdown at Paul and Karine’s home. One wrote to say that as TLC has fired Geoffrey from the show due to his abuse charges, they should do the same with Paul.
Fight between 90 Day Fiancé stars Paul and Karine
Paul and Karine recent explosive fight made headline news. This led to the police being called to the scene. Soon after, Karine left the home with baby Pierre. While Paul was distraught, saying Karine had disappeared, she soon afterward posted to say she was alive and safe. In the meantime, she has accused Paul of abusing her.
Besides the alleged assault, it has recently come up that Paul has a criminal past. In fact, he is a convicted arsonist and even spent time behind bars. Paul’s own mother recently called him a deadbeat, due to the fact that he cannot find work.

Due to all these related incidents surrounding Paul, many fans believe he should be fired by TLC. They pointed out that Geoffrey was fired over his domestic abuse charges, so why not Staelhe? Of course, fans will remember that Larissa had three domestic assault charges against her, but she remains on the show. It is beginning to feel like a double standard on the part of the reality TV network.
One 90 Day Fiancé fan does show support for Paul, writing that they need to forgive all those involved in the assault charges. Adding we need to stop judging people, they ask, “What is this world coming 2?” Other fans tend to agree.
The ups and downs of Paul and Karina’s marriage
However, fans recall that over the weekend, Karine calls out the police. She tells them Paul is abusing her and she wants to leave. During the incident, Paul posts on Instagram Live, showing the encounter with the police. He can be heard in the background, telling the police that Karine was free to leave. However, he did accuse her of cheating on him. Later it turns out that Karine had spoken to a Brazilian lawyer about child custody and divorce. This is apparently what sparked the argument.

In a previous incident, Paul called Child Protective Services on Karine. At that time, he accused her of drinking beer in front of their son, Pierre. According to Paul, he fears for his son’s safety while with his mother. The couple was told by police that they couldn’t get involved in a custody dispute.
Soon after the latest incident, Karine gets a restraining order against her husband. In her petition, she accuses Paul of controlling her life and not letting her leave. Karine further accuses Paul of sexually assaulting her on a number of occasions. However, as noted by The Blast, Paul has constantly denied any allegations of assault.
