’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jess Confronts Colt About Being ‘Friends With Benefits’ With Vanessa
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans likely wonder how Colt Johnson attracts so many beautiful women. The mommy’s boy was married to Brazilian beauty, Larissa Dos Santos Lima. He then moved on to another Brazilian girl, Jess Caroline. Now Jess is getting jealous of Colt’s relationship with Vanessa Guerra. She believes this could be a “friends with benefits” type of situation.
90 Day Fiancé star Jess accuses Colt of having friends with benefits
Jess Caroline seriously believes there is something going on between Colt Johnson and family “friend” Vanessa Guerra. Her suspicions have been growing recently. Now Sunday’s episode of Happily Ever After? sees Jess attacking Colt over what seems like a “friends with benefits” relationship between him and Vanessa.
Colt and Jess, with mom Debbie in tow, are visiting Brazil to meet Jess’s family and friends. At first, the trip seems to be going well. However, things change when Vanessa’s name comes up in the conversation. It seems Debbie had asked Colt’s friend to look after the family cats while they are away. Jess was not thrilled to hear this. She had believed Colt’s relationship with Vanessa was now in the past. Things quickly turn explosive between the pair.
When Jess finds out the truth, she tells Colt, “F**k you.” She goes on to refer to Vanessa as a “bitch,” complaining about how often she is at Colt’s home. Colt and Vanessa had already shut down the rumors that they are anything more than friends. However, Jess believes Vanessa wants to have relations with Colt, calling it a “friends with benefits” relationship.
Fight between Colt and Jess puts anchor on potential engagement
This argument turned out to be bad news all around. Earlier in the episode, Colt asks Jess’s father for his blessing to propose to his girlfriend. Moreover, her dad, Silvio, was quite happy to give his blessing. Saying how happy Colt makes Jess, he tells him, “Yes, I do give you her hand for you.”
While Silvio is happy about the relationship, Debbie is less than pleased about the idea Colt could be walking down the aisle again. She believes they may be rushing into marriage for all the wrong reasons. This is especially so, as Jess’s visa is up in six months. The 90 Day Fiancé star also admits Jess is giving her “flashbacks” of his former wife, Larissa.
Maybe it’s something about them both being Brazilian, as Debbie says “something’s up there,” adding she doesn’t trust that. Colt’s mom continues by saying any potential engagement would be a “terrible mistake” on their part. Moreover, the 90 Day Fiancé star says she will do everything in her power to stop this happening.
90 Day Fiancé timeline differs
Of course, the timeline of the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? differs from real-time. While on the show, it appears Colt and Jess are considering an engagement, they may have already parted ways. In fact, there are rumors he is, indeed, with Vanessa, rather than Jess.
In Touch notes that Jess recently posted on her Instagram Story to accuse Colt of cheating on her, while slamming Debbie’s parenting. The 90 Day Fiancé star inferred that “mommy” is too worried about her son having another Brazilian to “use him.” Jess believes history is repeating itself and Debbie never taught him not to cheat, manipulate or lie. Caroline says instead, Debbie is covering Colt’s lies and cheating the whole time. The 90 Day Fiancé reality star says if she had known this, she would never have introduced Colt and Debbie to her family.
