Carlin Bates Called Out For Wearing Mask Incorrectly
As TV Shows Ace reports, Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart of Bringing Up Bates recently took their daughter to the doctor. Six-month-old Layla Rae wasn’t acting like herself for a couple of reasons, so the first-time parents decided to take her in. This isn’t the first time that Layla has experienced health issues.
Evan and Carlin recorded a YouTube video about Layla’s health. First, they are at home, talking about her symptoms and how they’re going to take her to the doctor’s office for a checkup. While at the visit, they record for a short time. All of this is included in the YouTube video.
While at the doctor’s office, the parents wore masks, as required. While Evan wore a cloth mask, which covered his nose and mouth, Carlin wore a disposable medical mask. Throughout the video, the mask is only covering her mouth. While in the examination room with no medical personnel, Carlin moves her mask to her chin.
Bringing Up Bates fans call out Carlin Bates
After fans of Carlin and Evan watched the video, a few of them pointed out that Carlin wasn’t wearing her mask properly. One viewer commented, “Please for the love of that sweet child that has enough medical struggles put your mask on correctly and stay safe!”
Another viewer, who’s a registered nurse, chimed in, saying, “I am a registered nurse and it looked like dreams to me. Listen sweetheart listen to me cover your nose with that mask or it doesn’t work. You don’t want to risk getting Layla sick so be careful with that. Just saying cause I care.”
Someone else replied to that comment, adding, “I was just going to suggest that to Carlin as well. Just saw a piece about that on the news. Just trying to keep you all safe Carlin.”
Yet another fan commented, “PUT THE MASK OVER YOUR NOSE!! It’s not effective if you don’t cover your nose too.”
Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart have yet to respond to any of these comments on their YouTube video. But, they haven’t replied to any of the other comments on their video either. Nonetheless, Bringing Up Bates fans think it’s important to bring this to Carlin’s attention so she can keep her baby safe. As TV Shows Ace reports, the Bates-Stewart family had a minor coronavirus scare recently. So, fans think it’s best for them to keep themselves and Layla safe amid the pandemic. Plus, as a fan mentioned, since Layla has other health concerns, she may experience worse symptoms if she does get the virus.
