Duggar Fans Suspect That Jim Bob Confirmed Jessa’s Pregnant Again
Duggar fans speculated for a while now, that Jessa Seewald might be pregnant again. The rumor arose back in May when Jessa shared about teaching Ivy to walk. Fans thought she revealed a baby bump. But, in a video she shared about Ivy’s first birthday and her smash cake, fans also thought they spied a belly bump. However, a sharp fan thought that Counting On patriarch, Jim Bob possibly confirmed that she’s with child yet again.
Duggar family birthday celebration for Ivy shared on YouTube this weekend
Ivy celebrated her first birthday party back in May. But, Jessa took to YouTube on July 25 and shared a video. It showed Ivy smashing her cake. Jessa captioned it with, “Raw footage of what it’s actually like to celebrate your 1st birthday with 536 people telling you how to smash your cake. 😁” The white cake with yellow trimming looked delicious. But, some fans wondered why on earth people like seeing their kids deliberately smash their cake.
The video goes on for a while and occasionally, Jim Bob can be seen in the background. At one stage, he said, “This will tell us if it’s a boy or a girl.” He referred to the inside of the cake that Ivy pulled apart. Unfortunately, fans never actually saw the inside of the cake. But a Duggar fan picked up on it. They wrote, “Adorable!! And Jessa looks pregnant! Maybe that’s what Jim Bob meant by the inside of the cake telling what gender!” They added, “she and Ben sure make beautiful babies.”
Fans wonder about the reference to gender by Jim Bob
Another fan noted, “Did anyone else hear… This will tell us if it’s a boy or girl? Jessa pregnant again?” But some fans thought he just referred to the gender of Ivy being a girl as she seemed quite gentle with the cake. Another one suggested, “It was a joke because at Joe and Kendra’s son’s first birthday his smash cake revealed his baby sister’s s*x. Jessa’s not pregnant as far as anybody knows since she hasn’t announced anything.”
Well, announcement or not, fans believe that she is. We reported in May that a video of Ivy learning to walk revealed quite an obvious baby bump. And, bear in mind that the Duggar family doesn’t always announce pregnancies until they feel good and ready. Notably, “many people wait to announce their pregnancies until they’re further along. So, it could be at least a few months until Jessa announces a pregnancy.”
US Weekly noted that Jessa announced the pregnancies of both Spurgeon and Henry when she was quite well into her motherhood journey.
