Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky-Manno just shared with the world she is 1 in 4. She is 1 in 4 women who has suffered a miscarriage. Ali is still going through the pain of losing an unborn child. She posted she was at her doctor’s office for a follow-up appointment following her loss. She is quick to point out her revelation has nothing to do with sympathy or feeling sorry for herself.

Ali shares her pain with fans

Ali went to Facebook to write a message to her fans about her recent miscarriage. She said she’s speaking from her heart. And, she doesn’t feel sorry for herself nor is she looking for sympathy. She shares the details and warns some of the difficult read

Ali went on in her post to describe what happened. And, she admitted that while she is talking about it, she may not ever fully be ready to discuss everything. She said, “It happened early one morning when I had intense cramping. I passed the gestational sac – which was the size of a plum – in my bedroom. I was in complete shock when it happened.” Ali continued,  “I sat and stared at it for hours – not able to fully comprehend what happened. And the utter exhaustion that took over my body in the few days after that was almost debilitating. Actually, being completely exhausted for weeks was one of the first signs that I was pregnant.”

Ali went on to say she wants everyone who has experienced this kind of loss to know she feels them and she sees them. And while she says she is feeling somewhat better, she is still hurting from the whole experience.

Ali knows her loss is not as bad as others

She said, “I know that my loss is not the same as someone who’s had a stillbirth or lost a baby at 20 weeks. Or someone who has been trying to conceive for years. But what I found so shocking about my experience is that it affected me so much harder than I could have imagined. So know that if you’re going or have through this your feelings are valid – whatever they may be❤️.”

Ali has had her fair share of hard times. While she is blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children, she has had some health scares. Not too long ago Ali had skin cancer. Luckily, she had it removed and is fine now. But, her openness prompted many to go get their skin checked. She is definitely more cautious now and used sunscreen when needed.

Fans love that Ali is so open about the good and the bad in her life. They have shared her triumphs and her heartaches. She is truly a Bachelorette to be admired. Stay tuned for more updates on Ali and all your favorite Bachelor stars.
