‘My Pregnant Husband’ Stars Myles & Precious Are Raising Their Child Gender-Neutral

Precious and Myles from My Pregnant Husband

TLC has recently announced an upcoming part of their Extraordinary People series, My Pregnant Husband. Despite the three-part story not premiering yet, TLC viewers are getting to know the stars of the story. One of the couples featured is Myles and Precious Brady.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the couple talks about raising their daughter gender-neutral. Their daughter Zayn is only seven months old, but they’ve already got a plan when it comes to parenting. Their goal as parents is to let their daughter “know that she can be whatever she wants.”

Precious and Myles “met in the middle” as far as choosing how to raise Zayn. Precious explains, “We found a middle ground in it. … Her [safari-themed] room is painted gray. She has a grand crib in her room with beautiful white scrolling and bows upon it, but we dress her in multiple clothes. Some days she wears girls’ clothes, some days she wears boys’ clothes and some days she wears unisex clothes.”

Then, the My Pregnant Husband dad adds, “We just decided to let Zayn be. Zayn is a beautiful being. We’re just gonna support Zayn. …. Whatever direction, she chooses to go into, we will support her 100 percent.” The couple is committing to providing their daughter with a supportive environment.

Precious talks about the show and how important it is to be a part of the show. She says, “We hope people see that our lives matter and that they have meaning. I feel once we begin to see trans people thriving and existing in all parts of the world that we can begin to dismantle the stigma around being trans. Myles and I, we are proud to be trans. We celebrate our trans bodies, our trans selves.”
