Sister Wives personality Christine Brown is under fire for accepting gifts from fans. Is this an abuse of her social status thanks to her role on the TLC series? Some of her followers on Facebook certainly seem to think so.

Where is Christine Brown posting about her gifts?

Now, if you follow the Sister Wives cast on Instagram and Twitter you might be a little confused. Chances are pretty good you’ve never seen Christine Brown post about gifts from fans. This is because she uses Facebook to connect with her fans more than anything.

The TLC personality has a Facebook group with over 30,000 members. She uses the group to promote her LuLaRoe business.

“Hey Wonderful, Amazing and Beautiful people!! Get ready for some fun while you shop from the comfort of your own home buying fabulous, cozy and comfortable clothes.” The description of her group reads.

While the group is private, just about anyone is auto-accepted into the group upon request. Christine, however, does not hesitate to remove trolls. So, those interested in dredging up Sister Wives drama never stick around the group for long. Christine Brown likes to keep things positive within the group. And really, who can blame her?

Truely Brown received a cute hat a few days ago.

Three days ago, Christine Brown posted an adorable photo of her daughter Truely. She was rocking a cute beanie on her head. The beanie was apparently a gift from a Sister Wives fan. Christine tagged who sent the gift and thanked them for it in the caption attached to the photo.

Over the past few days, screenshots of the photo above have circulated Sister Wives Facebook groups. Unfortunately for Christine, many have not had great things to say about it. While they didn’t have any hate toward Truely… They were not feeling the free hand-outs.

Many slammed the Sister Wives personality for accepting free things from her fans. Others took issue with her posting the photo of her daughter wearing it. They felt Christine was just using Truely to get more free things from her fans.

Christine watches for trolls closely in her group.

Turns out, Christine Brown hasn’t hesitated to ban and block individuals who take screenshots of her posts in the group and say negative things about them in other groups. Some speculate she has a fake Facebook profile she uses to watch for trolls in other groups and remove them from her group. Others speculate she has a group of people who just send her screenshots and tell her who to remove from her group. Either way, trash talking Christine is not recommended if you enjoy being in her LuLaRoe group.

So, do you have an issue with Christine Brown getting gifts from fans? Is she inappropriately using her daughter to get free things? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
