Jade Roper & Tanner Tolbert Reveal Baby No. 3’s Gender
On Tuesday, July 14, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert revealed the gender of their third child. The couple already shares two children, 2½-year-old daughter Emerson Avery and 9-month-old son Brooks Easton. Then, in mid-May, the couple shared the exciting news that their third baby’s on the way. But, this baby wasn’t planned. Tanner said, “This one was not planned. Very much an accident and very much a surprise when Jade told me.”

Now, they shared the gender reveal news exclusively with E! News.
The Bachelor alum happily shared the family’s news, saying, “We are SO excited and thankful to be welcoming a healthy baby boy into our family! Emmy, Tanner and I all were all putting our bets on a girl, but this is truly such a fun and happy surprise! It may take a while for Emmy to call the baby brother though. She is still referring to him as sister.”
Then, Jade Tolbert continued, “I’m so grateful, and I’m so happy we decided to find out before the baby is born. It gives me something to look forward to and I feel even more bonded to him now.”
She adds, “It’s pretty awesome we are having two boys so close in age. I’m excited to see them grow up and be so close and hopefully be a little competitive with each other. It’ll be fun to see the differences in personalities. Plus, this way Emmy is still our only girl and that feels special to us.”

According to Jade, their first idea was a “Pinterest fail.” She says, “We were hoping for a volcano eruption of color, and it came out like a flat blue pancake!” Then, she continues, “It wasn’t perfect, but we laughed and the photos came out so beautiful regardless. Definitely memories we will have forever.”
Because their first idea didn’t work out, they decided to use a powder cannon. This worked much better.
Jade updates followers on pregnancy
Being in the public eye means that Jade gets lots of attention on social media. The Bachelor alum has an impressive 1.3 million followers on Instagram. But, that doesn’t stop her from sharing all the details about her pregnancy and life, in general. She’s open about whether baby number three will be their last.
