‘Sister Wives’: Paedon Brown Backs The Blue – Sparks Division Among Fans

Sister Wives Paedon Brown Kody Brown

Sister Wives star Paedon Brown grew up into a strapping young man. Just over a year ago, he graduated from the National Guard Bootcamp.  The son of Kody and Christine Brown took to Instagram this week and shared a post that said he backs the blue. He also tagged it with #BlueLivesMatter. That sparked instant division between his fans and followers.

Sister Wives – Paedon comes from a diverse family

Kody Brown’s got a huge family. As the Black Lives Matter protests continue, and the cancel culture censors everyone about what they share on social media, the kids face a dilemma. On the one hand, there’s Mariah, Paedon’s half-sister by Meri. Liberal, college-educated, and a part of the LGBTQ+ community, Mariah holds very strong opinions about the BLM movement. In fact, she went so so far as to warn that anyone who votes the wrong way in November will end up cut off from her. Judging by Paedon’s post, he won’t be getting a Christmas card from her this year.

On the other hand, Paedon’s younger sister Gwendlyn probably gets a card and gifts from Mariah this year. Increasingly, the younger Brown daughter echos what Mariah says about it all. The adult men in the family mainly remain silent on the whole issue of liberal movements for change right now. Sister Wives‘ patriarch Kody finally posted something on July 4, wondering what happens next in the country. Naturally, he got slammed for that as he shared a quote by Ronald Reagan.

Paedon serves in the National Guard

Paedon joined the National Guard and he looks every inch an upstanding young man. His brother Garrison also entered the National Guard back in 2016. And, Hunter graduated from the Airforce Academy earlier this year. So, it seems the adult men know how it feels to wear a uniform and put their lives at risk to save other people. A short time ago, probably many Sister Wives fans would have applauded Paedon’s Blue Lives Matter post. But times changed very fast. Now, many people just slammed him for it. Lots of people clashed over Paedon’s post.

As one follower commented, “NO LIVES MATTER UNTIL BLACK LIVES MATTER.” But Paedon never said black lives don’t matter. The microcosm of hate on that post shows a terribly divided country. Some Sister Wives fans slammed him and told Padeon they unfollowed him for posting it.

As Olivia Plath of Welcome To Palthville said about posting on social media these days, “You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.”
