‘VPR’: Rumors Swirl that Lisa Vanderpump’s Villa Blanca Restaurant is Closed For Good
Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump may not be on TV right now, but she’s in the middle of some heavy online gossip. Gossip site Tamara Rattles reports that L.A. eatery, Villa Blanca, is shut down permanently due to lawsuits and high rent.
Gossip Site Speculates About Villa Blanca Closing
Lisa Vanderpump owns many restaurants in the U.S. and England, particularly in the West Hollywood/L.A. area of California. SUR is most known because VPR tapes there. PUMP is kitty-corner to SUR.
VPR stars Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval have a small stake in the TomTom bar. Lisa recently opened a cocktail garden in Las Vegas. Due to how problematic VPR has become, fans wonder if a Las Vegas spin-off might come to Bravo.
But Villa Blanca is the oldest of Lisa’s WeHo restaurants. But over the years, the eatery has gotten flack for lawsuits and disgruntled workers. The gossip site reports that Villa Blanca is under sub-lease, with the owners trying to offload it to someone else.
The site’s ‘spies’ reveal that high rent and loss of income from quitting RHOBH have put Lisa in a tight spot. Tamara Tattles reports that the restaurant’s windows are painted to prevent onlookers from seeing inside. Furthermore, a sign on the door says the restaurant is undergoing “painting and refurb.”
All of Lisa restaurants in L.A. and Las Vegas were shuttered during the coronavirus pandemic. The cocktail garden in Las Vegas is open again. However, none of the California restaurants are open yet. As a result, it’s difficult to verify the rumors about Villa Blanca.
VPR’s Lisa Vanderpump Updates Fans on Husband’s Surgery
Lisa has yet to address anything about her restaurants. However, she gave fans an update on her husband, Ken Todd’s, health. The VPR star’s husband had back surgery in June. Lisa took to Instagram earlier this week to share a video of Ken’s progress.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Lisa without cracking a joke about her husband’s recovery. She captions the video that it took a lot of “OxyContin and a dedicated nurse” to get her husband back on his feet. And “the gigster,” meaning their dog Giggy.
In the video, Ken ambles toward the camera, his stride slightly difficult. When he reaches Lisa, he sits down and nonchalantly takes a sip of his drink.

Lisa Mum on More Possible VPR Firings
As VPR fans know, Bravo let go four of the stars last month for racially insensitive behavior. At the time, Lisa released a statement about how “saddened” she was by their behavior. Since that time, she hasn’t spoken out about the situation again.
Even as fans continue to clamor for more firings and accountability. In fact, Bravo’s own Andy Cohen said recently that fans can expect more firings.
Lisa stood up for two of the now-fired employees – Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni – at the Season 8 reunion.
