‘Days of Our Lives’ Cast Reacts To Kristian Alfonso’s Exit
Days of Our Lives viewers recently learned Kristian Alfonso would not be returning. She was ready to start a new chapter of her life. Unless something changes with COVID between now and then, the rest of the cast and crew are set to return to work in a few months. Wondering what the rest of the DOOL cast thinks about her exit? Days of Our Lives returns in September
COVID-19 caused the production of nearly all TV shows to come to a screeching halt. Fortunately, some shows have begun to announce when they would return. This includes DOOL. Corday Productions, speaking to Variety, confirmed DOOL would return on September 1st. While fans are excited for the shows return. They are saddened by losing one important cast member.

Kristian Alfonso exits.
Kristian Alfonso has been a part of the Days of Our Lives cast as Hope Brady since 1983. After 37 years, however, she is ready to move on to the next chapter of her life. As we previously reported, she posted her official statement about the exit on Instagram. She kicked off the statement gushing about the importance of the show. It sounds like it is something she will cherish forever. She, however, felt now was the time for her to move on to the next thing.
Unfortunately for fans of Kristian Alfonso, the “next chapter” of her life is currently unclear. But, fans certainly look forward to seeing what comes next for her.
Days of Our Lives cast reacts to the exit
DOOL fans are not alone in being saddened by the news. Some members of the Days of Our Lives cast have worked with Kristian Alfonso for a while. They are just as sad to see a co-worker and friend go. That being said, many of her DOOL cast mates reacted to the sad news. They were quick to shower Kristian Alfonso with love and support as she moves on to the next chapter of her life.
Brandon Barash (who plays Jake Lambert) noted: “What a pleasure it’s been! Miss you already! Congrats on that next chapter!”
Linsey Godfrey (who plays Sarah Horton) adds: “I love you so much, Mama. You’re such sunshine and joy at work. I will miss you so much but I’m grateful for every minute I got with you and for our friendship.”
Beth Evans (who plays Dr. Kayla Brady) also declared her love for Kristian Alfonso. She referred to the actress as her “sister.”
Lauren Koslow (who plays Kate Roberts) penned: “An inspiration to us all – love to you GF.”

Former DOOL cast members also found the news sad.
Kristian Alfonso certainly isn’t the first to exit the Days of Our Lives cast. Turns out, former cast members were not any happier to learn of her exit.
“Classy as always! You have brightened so many lives, mine included! Now go do some well-earned day-drinking!!” Charles Shaughnessy gushed.
DOOL fans also react to Kristian Alfonso’s exit.
Days of Our Lives fans have also taken to social media to express their sorrow for the news. They, however, wish the very best for the actress as she moves on with her life and career.

Kristian Alfonso’s Instagram was so flooded with co-stars and celebrities that it was difficult to find comments from fans. Fans, however, agreed this was a testament to how well-respected she was. And, how much her cast mates enjoyed working with her.
