Baby woes for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Stars Angela and Michael

Despite her age, Angela Deem, 54, is hoping to be able to give Michael Ilesanmi, 31, a baby. In the episode of Sunday, June 21, Angela goes to visit a gynecologist in Georgia. She wants to find out the chances of her having a baby.

Angela was recently excited after getting her period for the first time in two years. She thinks this could mean her menopause is not actually starting yet. However, when Angela sees the doctor, she got some potentially bad news. The doctor tells her this might not be a positive sign. In fact, postmenopausal bleeding isn’t necessarily a period, it could be linked to endometrial cancer.

As noted by In Touch, the gynecologist tells Angela that she and Michael need to be sure before considering any options to allow her to conceive a child. The TLC reality star says the bleeding and the lining of her uterus concerns her doctor. Deem says the doctor wants her to have an endometrial biopsy to ensure she doesn’t have any cancer cells. The gynecologist has revealed to the 90 Day Fiancé star that the bleeding could also be caused by fibroids, as she does have an enlarged uterus.

Angela Deem still optimistic about having a baby

The TLC alum is still optimistic about the chances of her having a baby. This is because a fertility doctor in Nigeria had told her she has one egg left. However, the recent gynecologist has told her she doesn’t have any eggs left. She had told Angela she has “essentially zero” chance of becoming pregnant on her own.

Depending on her condition, there is a chance Angela could try In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with a donor egg. However, this would still be an uphill battle due to her age. Meanwhile, if it does turn out she has uterine cancer, there is no chance of Angela carrying a child.

90 Day Fiancé star does get some good news

Angela gets some news from her mother later in the episode. Her mother gave Angela her blessing to marry Michael in Nigeria after his visa was denied. However, her mother is a five-time cancer survivor but is currently ill with pneumonia, which worries Angela a lot.

Meanwhile, Angela does have two daughters from a past relationship, Scottie and Skyla. But she does hope to have a baby with Michael at some stage.
