Duggar Dads Celebrate Father’s Day
On Sunday, June 21, dads all over the United States celebrated Father’s Day. This includes the fathers in the Duggar family as well. On the holiday, their wives shared special tributes celebrating the men in their lives. Some of the fathers also reflected on their time as parents so far. In response to the posts, Counting On fans are sharing their best wishes for the families.
Here are all the sweet social media posts from the Counting On family on Father’s Day.
John-David Duggar
It was John-David’s first Father’s Day. He and his wife Abbie welcomed their first child, Grace Annette, to the world in January 2020. In his social media post, he says that he’s enjoying being a dad so far. Then, he sweetly adds, “I look forward to all the adventures ahead with our little girl!” This is in addition to a photo of himself kissing his daughter when she was a newborn.

Ben Seewald
On Father’s Day, Jessa Seewald shared a photo of her husband Ben sitting on the couch. Four-year-old Spurgeon is on the couch with his dad, while one-year-old Ivy stands beside the couch. The couple’s three-year-old son Henry is napping in another room, so he’s not in the photo Jessa shared. Jessa calls Ben a “fantastic dad.”

She writes that he’s “wonderful and loving.” She also adds that their seven-month-old daughter has started saying “da-da.” The Counting On star shared a couple of beautiful pictures of Josiah holding Bella. In the first photo, he’s kissing her cheek. In the second one, he’s offering the baby a flower.

Derick Dillard
In an Instagram post, Jill shares a series of photos of the fathers in her life. Her post is all about her husband Derick, who she shares two sons with. Jill retells a story about their young son Samuel asking his dad to make him a paper airplane. Derick did this in between his studying, as he’s in law school. Jill adds, “It’s moments like these and so many more that make me fall in love with you again and again.”

Jeremy Vuolo
In Jinger Vuolo’s post dedicated for Jeremy, she talks about seeing him as a father for the first time. Then, she goes on to talk about how amazing he is as nearly two-year-old Felicity’s dad. Jinger writes, “I’ve witnessed your selfless care in the countless hours you’ve spent taking the night shift to calm cries, changing diapers, cleaning up spills, and just being the most incredible dad a girl could ever ask for.”
Jinger gushes over Jeremy, talking about how he plays with Felicity and adds that he makes Felicity “light up.” The photo Jinger shared features Jeremy pushing Felicity on a swing.

Some of the Duggars chose not to document their Father’s Day celebrations
While several of the families did share posts about Father’s Day, not all of them did. It’s unclear exactly why this is, but fans assume that they simply wanted to keep things more private. After all, not everything needs to be shared online. Specifically, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth, Josh and Anna Duggar, and Joe and Kendra Duggar didn’t share anything for Father’s Day. But, it’s assumed that they still celebrated and made the day very special.
