‘VPR’: Fired From Bravo, Will Max and Brett Still Work in Lisa Vanderpump’s Restaurants? Possibly
A few familiar faces will be missing from Vanderpump Rules, but what about Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood eateries?
While Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens are off the Bravo show, what does their future hold in regards to working for LVP?
VPR Boss’s L.A. Restaurants Still Closed Due to Coronavirus, But Max and Brett May Still Have Jobs
It’s been three months since Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants were forced to temporarily shutter, including VPR‘s SUR. The coronavirus pandemic led to many states, including California, mandating that all restaurants close. While some chose to stay open for deliveries and curbside pick-up, Lisa’s upscale eateries didn’t.
As a result, many of the Vanderpump Rules stars who actually work at Lisa’s restaurants were out of a job. Several veteran stars – such as Stassi, Kristen, Katie and Brittany – no longer actually pick up shifts at the restaurants. Rather, they’ve branched off into their own business opportunities.
However, for newbies like Max and Brett, working at Lisa’s restaurants is still part of their daily lives.
Brett works at SUR while Max is the manager for TomTom.
Do they still have their jobs after Bravo fired them from VPR? Maybe.

Hours after Season 8 of VPR aired, fans unearthed old tweets from Max and Brett that used the n-word and other racist behavior. At the time, Lisa Vanderpump said she wanted to give the two another chance.
Even at the VPRSeason 8 reunion, airing June 2, Lisa continued to stand by her employees. Watch the clip below for their apologies and Lisa’s defense.

She also said that if she fired everyone who screwed up, she wouldn’t have a cast or employees.
However, on June 9, Bravo changed the tune. In one not-so-swift move, they fired Brett, Max and long-time stars Stassi and Kristen. Brett and Max were let go over their old tweets. Kristen and Stassi lost their jobs over a resurfaced podcast Stassi did. In the podcast, the Next Level Basic author admits that the two falsely reported former co-star Faith Stowers to the police.
Faith spoke out about the incident the week prior to the firings. She was responding to a question about what her experience was like working in an all-white cast.
With the spotlight on racism, Bravo cut their losses with the four stars. Fans are now clamoring for Jax Taylor to be the next to go. Bravo has yet to respond to those demands.
Us Weekly reports that Max and Brett “haven’t heard anything” about their jobs at TomTom and SUR.
The third and final part of the Vanderpump Rules reunion airs Tuesday, June 16 on Bravo. The episode is scheduled an hour earlier than its usual time, so check your local listings.
