Kendall Jenner addressed the Photoshopped Black Lives Matter photo that went viral on social media this weekend. She responded to claims that she shared an image of herself holding a fake Black Lives Matter sign. At first, the image looked like it came from the model’s Instagram account. It went viral on social media earlier this week.
The photo shows Kendall wearing a black face mask with a black mesh top, a black bra, and matching black pants. The 24-year-old holds a fake Black Lives Matter sign. Fans noticed that the photo didn’t look real since it didn’t show her shadow in the sunshine. They accused Kendall of Photoshopping it herself.

Per Yahoo! Life, Kendall Jenner responded to the claims. She denied posting the image on her Instagram account. On Saturday, June 6, Kendall took to Twitter to write, “This is photoshopped by someone. I DID NOT post this.”
Many of Kendall’s fans took to her response to post the original photo, which shows her without a face mask and holding a water bottle in the air. It also shows her shadow on the ground. Check out both images for yourself below.

Did the model attend a Black Lives Matter protest with Harry Styles?
Kendall Jenner was previously criticized for her silence on the Black Lives Matter movement and racial injustice. Per AceShowbiz, a friend of her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles was the one of the ones to drag the model. Harry attended a protest in Los Angeles, California with a group of his friends. Some of the photos went viral on social media. Of course, fans assumed the dark-haired woman in the photos was Kendall. His friend shot down the claims and threw shade at the reality star.
“For those wondering if any of us are kendall – no lol [sic],” Harry’s female friend wrote. “She was not at the protest. She was looking for a Pepsi.”
This was a dig towards Kendall’s controversial 2017 Pepsi ad in which she handed a can to a police officer at a protest. Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner were first romantically linked in 2013 after they were photographed on a date in West Hollywood. Despite hanging out on various occasions, they never confirmed the romance rumors. The pair was also spotted practicing social distancing via their luxury vehicles back in April.
