Kanye West Donates $2M & Pays Gianna Floyd’s College Tuition
Kanye West is putting his money towards good. The rapper donated $2 million to support the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. The money will also help support black-owned businesses in his native Chicago, a representative for West told CNN. He also started a 529 education plan to cover college tuition for Gianna Floyd, the 6-year-old daughter of the late George Floyd.
But that’s not all. The 42-year-old isn’t just paying it forward, but he’s also putting himself out there. The Sunday Sermons leader joined protestors in Chicago.
