‘VPR’: Lala Kent Reveals New Wedding Plans
Another wedding delay! Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent won’t be getting married next month after all. The reality star is adjusting her wedding plans to ensure the safety of her guests. Lala also reconsiders trying for a baby immediately after the wedding or during the quarantine.
VPR’s Lala Kent Pushes Wedding Back…Again
The VPR star was ready to marry fiancé Randall Emmett in mid-April. However, at the time, most of the county was under strict stay-at-home orders. Wedding venues, restaurants, etc., temporarily shuttered.
As a result, Lala and Emmett were forced to cancel their wedding plans.

At the time, they said the wedding would happen in July instead. But California is just starting to open up after the lockdown, making a July wedding impossible.
With April and July out of the question, Lala settles on a new plan.
Randall and Lala Will Marry Later This Year
Lala was a recent guest on Stassi Schroeder’s Straight Up With Stassi podcast. She opened up to her VPR co-star about her upcoming wedding. Lala reveals that the wedding will now happen in “August or September.”
However, Randall wanted to push the wedding back until next year. Stassi and her fiancé, Beau Clark, finally decided to postpone their October 2020 wedding to October 2021. Stassi’s wedding will take place in Rome, Italy. Lala’s nuptials will be closer to home, in Newport Beach, California.
While Lala is aiming for a late summer or early fall wedding, she is aware that it’s not set in stone.
She tells Stassi that the wedding will go on only if she’s given the “okay.” Lala reveals to Stassi that she doesn’t want her guests to be “nervous” about attending a wedding right now.
Will Lala Be the First VPR Star to Have a Baby?
Randall recently opened up about Lala being ready for a baby ASAP. However, Lala tells Stassi a slightly different story on her podcast. According to Lala, she WAS ready, but then the coronavirus pandemic happened.
In typical TMI fashion, Lala tells Stassi that she had a doctor’s appointment to get her IUD [birth control] taken out. However, the coronavirus “sh*t” put a wrench in her plans. She didn’t want to end up “six months pregnant walking down the aisle” so she canceled the appointment.
While she does not have a biological child (yet,) Lala is stepmom to Randall’s two daughters with ex-wife Ambyr Childers.
The VPR bad girl admits that being a stepmom is “a lot of work.” But she does think it’s “fun.” In fact, Lala strives to be the “fun stepmom.”
Tell us in the comments if you think Lala is the “fun mom” or the “strict mom.”
The three-part Vanderpump Rules Season 8 reunion starts Tuesday, June 2 on Bravo.
