Jackson Duggar Celebrates His 16th Birthday
Jackson Duggar celebrated his 16th birthday on Saturday, May 23. On social media, his family documented his special day. They posted a picture of Michelle, Jim Bob, and Jackson. In the picture, Jackson is standing in between his parents. He’s holding a chocolate cake and is getting ready to blow out the candles.
Michelle and Jim Bob write, “You are one of the best story/joke tellers I’ve ever heard and you certainly keep us laughing! 😆 I love hearing you whistle and sing as you go about your day. 🎶 And I am also so touched by the way you devote time every day to read your Bible so faithfully! It is a joy to be your parents and see your desire to follow the Lord! Happy birthday!! Glad y’all had fun on your bike ride! 🚲”
The Duggar family also reveals that Jackson will be getting his driver’s license this year. So, this is a pretty big milestone for the young man.

Fans remember seeing Jackson as a child
Because the Duggar family lives in the spotlight, some fans remember seeing Jackson on TLC as a child. One writes, “Jackson you’re making me feel very very old because I started watching you when you were just a little boy.” Several other fans agree with that comment. Some fans feel that they know the Duggar family so well, thanks to their shows on TV. But, since the newest TLC show, Counting On, mostly features the older kids and their own families, Jackson isn’t seen often.
Several Duggars have May birthdays
In addition to Jackson, several other family members are celebrating this month. Jill Dillard, Ben Seewald, and Lauren Duggar celebrated their birthdays. Ivy Seewald will turn one on May 26.

In such a large family, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are big birthday months. No matter how many birthdays there are, the family always finds a way to celebrate. But, some of the birthdays might look different this year. Due to the coronavirus, it’s unlikely that the family will be able to have a big get-together soon. In the meantime, they are finding other ways to celebrate these occasions. On Jill’s birthday, Michelle stopped by and visited for a bit.
Josiah Duggar planned a perfect picnic for his wife Lauren on her 21st birthday. And, Jessa Seewald ordered breakfast from Ben’s favorite restaurant. Plus, she dedicated a heartfelt message to her husband. So, despite the family not being able to get together, they are still finding ways to enjoy birthdays.
