Jana Duggar Dedicates Heartwarming Post To Michelle
On Sunday, May 10, Jana Duggar shared a sweet message for her mom Michelle. In an Instagram post, Jana shares a series of older pictures featuring her mom and her siblings years ago. There are also a few recent photos in the gallery.
In Jana’s caption, she writes, “Mom, If I were to think of one word to describe you, the first word that comes to mind is ‘selfless.’ You are always giving of your time, energy and resources to bless others. I honestly don’t know how you do all that you do! You can run on little sleep for days on end just to make sure your family is taken care of.”
Then, Jana goes on to talk about all the different ways her mom helps her and the rest of the Duggar children. Finally, Jana wishes her mom a Happy Mother’s Day and thanks for her being her best friend.

Duggar fans think Jana’s post is really sweet and they love seeing the old photos of Jana and her siblings. They also agree with the sentiments she shared about Michelle. Fans seem to admire Michelle as a mother and use some of her advice to raise their children. In a recent YouTube video, Jessa Seewald talks about Michelle’s parenting style and many of her followers said they wanted to try the strategies.
Duggars celebrate first Mother’s Day without Grandma Mary
In a social media post, Michelle reveals that it’s the family’s first Mother’s Day without Jim Bob’s mother, Mary. Fans may recall that Grandma Mary passed away unexpectedly nearly a year ago. The grandmother slipped and fell into a pool and drowned. The entire family was very close to their grandmother, so this was an especially hard loss for the family.
In her social media post, Michelle shares that her own mom passed away years ago. So, Grandma Mary became like a mother to her. Now, the family has to celebrate the holiday without her. The Duggars have positive thoughts about Grandma Mary despite her sad death. Though they miss her, they reflect on the happy memories they have with her.
