Jessa, Jinger, And More Duggars Document Mother’s Day
Mothers and grandmothers enjoyed their special day on Sunday, May 10. This includes the Duggars too. On social media, the family members documented their Mother’s Day. Prior to Mother’s Day, TLC released a video from several of the couples. They talk about motherhood, and some mention how special it is to be first-time parents.

Michelle Duggar talks about first Mother’s Day without Grandma Mary
In a social media post, Michelle opens up about the loss of her mother. She also talks about how Grandma Mary became like a mother to her. Everyone in the family had a special bond with Grandma Mary. This Mother’s Day is a hard one for the family because they lost their grandmother in early June 2019. So, this is their first Mother’s Day without her here. Michelle talks about missing her dearly.
Duggar kids celebrate Mother’s Day
On social media, several of the adult kids shared about Mother’s Day. It’s obvious that it’s a very special day for them. Jedidiah Duggar shared a photo of himself with his mom. Jedidiah left a heartfelt message for his mom too. At the end of his caption, he writes, “I’m so blessed to be your son!”

Abbie, John-David’s wife, celebrated her first Mother’s Day with their baby Gracie. The mom took the opportunity to share a couple of sweet photos of herself and her daughter. In her caption, she writes about how she always wanted to be a mom. She says that her “dreams have come true.”

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo both shared lengthy posts about Mother’s Day. Jinger talks about the privilege she has to be a mother. She shares an adorable picture of herself and Felicity. In addition to talking about being a mother to her daughter Felicity, Jinger mentions her mom, Michelle, saying, “As I celebrate mothers today, I can’t help but think of the amazing mother God gave to me.”

Jessa Seewald shared a cute picture of her mom, Michelle, with her nearly one-year-old daughter, Ivy. She talks about how sweet it is to see her mom with her children. She also mentions how great of a childhood she had.
Jessa adds, “I pray for God to give me more of those same qualities in my own mothering.” It sounds like Jessa truly looks up to her mother and loves the parenting advice she’s gained from her over the years.

Cousin Amy King shares about her first Mother’s Day
Though she doesn’t like to be referred to as a Duggar, she’s still a part of the Duggar family. Jim Bob’s niece Amy King celebrated her first Mother’s Day. Her son Daxton is seven months old. In those seven months, it seems like Amy has learned a lot. She also writes a sweet message to her own mother, Jim Bob’s sister. She mentions Grandma Mary too. Amy was very close to Grandma Mary and took the loss particularly hard.

Even though not every Duggar shared a post to social media on Sunday, it’s likely that they had a wonderful day celebrating. As social distancing guidelines ease up, more families are able to get together.
